i'm not who you think i am
i'm not who i pretend to be
i'm not anything you ever thought
that i would end up to be

i'm cowardly and defensive
but my tongue is like a sword
it pierces people's hearts
i'm rough, i'm shallow

i wallow in nothingness
my lighter my only light
but i can't make myself throw it away
no matter how hard i try

i can't throw away the light
