Well...I haven't updated in a long time. Okay, here's what's going on-

The job search had gone really slow after school semester ended. It wasn't until 2 weeks ago that I got a job I actually like, curtesy of a temp. agency.

What of the candy store? It closed on Feb. 28. My last day was Feb. 26. It was down for 3 months, and is opening tomorrow! After it closed, I thought that I would not go back. Customers are a pain in the butt, kids are a pain in the butt, punks are a pain in the butt, the DM is a pain in the butt, lifting boxes is a pain in the back. But...it's so hard to say no to the manager! She's such a good boss and a good friend...so I desided to return and balance 2 jobs for summer.

So since Friday, I've been helping set up the store. On friday, there were SOOOOOO many boxes of candy and despencers and plush, you couldn't walk around! But today, I stopped by (they had everything under control, so they didn't need me today and that store is SOOO close to opening! They just have to put all the count goods away and it's ready! That means, the store opens tomorrow (Monday)!

The DM has been strangely mellow lately. She hasn't yelled at me in annoyance since Friday. She seems to be in a relativly good mood, dispite the mall being stupid about not being allowed to take out trash during mall hours (do they have any idea how much of a hinderance that is to a store getting ready to open?) and they're being idiots about our broken A.C. That's a danger to our chocolates!

Oh well, otherwise, things are going well otherwise. "Sunny D." has also agreed to return, so the team consists of the store M., "Sunny", some new lady, and myself. For the most part, it's a new store, with an old crew (and old registers... stare stupid penny-pinching corporate...)

The rantings of the candy girl shall continue!
