There are a few rebels who after there 5 years want nothing more to do with Von Karthaig or the children of defaulters who blame Von Karthaig, that’s their privilege so long as they don’t cause trouble for Von K. or the business around them. They can choose to become thieves, bandits, Hunters whatever so long as they don’t trouble Von K. or their allies.
If they choose to cross Von K. they will be treated as any other of their kind is. That is hunted down and destroyed, however, if they have a last request it will be honoured if possible. They will also be honourably buried where they choose/returned to their family as the wish.

Fortunately this doesn’t happen often because most kids are raise in happy, balanced surroundings and those with traumas in their past spend time with the healer’s until they are healed… as long as it takes.
There are healers stationed at each of the orphan schools except the ones in Von K. village as they are close the core family healers.
Often sponsors kids get sponsored out to places like Chessworth or Ravenstone or the Cell Bunker’s etc depending on their talents and abilities and its included as working for Von Karthaig.
