I told you this journal would turn into me bitching.
Which really kind of sux. I mean I didn't think this journal would be that intellectual or anything, but if we write what is on our minds, its apparent I just nag those things that bother me. But whatever xp

More food things.
My parents eating habits still blow my mind. Yes, its 'nutritional.' Almost everything in our pantry is whole grain whole wheat wheat germ blah blah blah. But just cuz it says that doesnt mean you can munch it down like ho-hos.

And another thing is, I have gotten use to living by myself and doing things my own way. Mainly the fact that when I cook food, I follow directions. Do I know how to cook Japanese food? No. I'd be starving if it wasn't for this DS program I bought. So when I cook, I do what it tells me to do. So I tried cooking with my mom the other day and she was allll overrr the place with the recipe and I'm like "..." Really. I think the possibility of your food tasting like crap is higher if you just do what you want. Then you sit at the table and complain how bad it tastes and have no one to blame but yourself because you couldn't follow 6 EASY STEPS.

Ok I'm done with food.

No really. Why won't they write me back. I told them a month ago I'd be back in America because I as really excited. Aaand they have said nothing. Its just annoying cuz I vividly remember this one time we played poker and one of the guys there goes to the Naval Academy and they made this biiiig deal about it and said all these cliched things like "keep fighting the good fight" And this was right before I left for Japan. I don't/didn't expect them to be all 'oooh and aaah' over me, but when it came down to someone starting their second year at the Academy vs. me transferring to Japan, I thought I would get just a 'little' attention.
But they suck. Pat's cool tho. He's majoring in Japanese.

Now random things.
I study too much but I don't mind, but I don't think I have enough time to do everything I want. I want to:

Research for thesis
Finish Japanese flash cards
Read a chapter of:
Grammar
Kanji
Bunken Test
Kanken Test

Everyday. I can do it. Just takes time. Especially since I want to restart FFVII. Oh well.
