Sue and Walt pair up and marry. Walt is the son of Ellie’s nephew Mat and Doris, a village person of the same family as Ellie’s first Hound, Jack.
Though he and Ren have similar talents they have very different personalities. He gets along with her well enough as a partner and as the husband of her partner but not as a potential love interest. Their talents also differ slightly.
