Ok, I believe the last time I left everyone off was about my college updates. Well, there's nothing else to say in that department at the moment. But I do have a funny story to tell about work today. 3nodding So, yeah.
Today started like any other day: Get up in the morning, take silly brother to summer school, then go to work, work, then go on the field trip. Only today... Getting to go on the field trip was a little complicated, as was going home later. Know why? Cuz... Dun, dun, dun.
I got my first flat tire.
Uh-huh. My first ever flat tire. Wanna know how I got it? I have no clue. whee It was fine this morning, but then after a few hours of staying inside the building and working, I come out to find that it's completely and utterly flat. (BTW, the tire that was flat was the one on the left-hand side, in the front by the driver's seat.) I have no idea how it became flat. For all I know, it was just having a bad day and decided it'd had enough of me or something. confused In either case, that totally set back the schedule of going to the library on time today. So here's what we did about it. (Keep note that we only have two functional cars now.) rolleyes
First, me and a couple of the kids went back into the building to wait 'til my boss-lady came back for us. Then when she came, she took the rest of us to the library. She waited outside for me to go and call Paul, then the two of them went to change my flat tire while I stayed with the kids at the library. About forty minutes later they come back saying that the spare tire that I had in my car was also flat. eek exclaim question Hell knows how that happened... They even tried to see if my boss-lady's spare tire would work (at least until I could fix it properly) but it was too big for my car so that failed. I felt sorry for Paul - he had to go try to fix my car and couldn't get anything done. If only my parents had changed the "spare" tire in my car when they were supposed to... stare
In any case, what I had to do now was call my parents and tell them what had happened since we couldn't solve the problem on our own. Of course, brilliant me, I forgot my cell phone at home today. sweatdrop So I borrowed Paul's phone. Made about a dozen calls to both my parents trying to solve the matter. In the end it came down to this: My mom will go find the car in the parking lot. Then dad will call and get it towed away. Then mom will follow the car to where it's going to get fixed. Dad will meet her there. Mom will go home. Dad will stay. And since at this point I get off of work, Paul will take me home. Sounds simple enough... stare It took about half an hour to plan this though cuz my parents are retards. Paul on the other hand was fine and dandy - all he needed to know was where he was taking me. (And he didn't complain at all. Smart thing that he didn't cuz if he did I'd tell him that without me he couldn't have made $$$ the time he didn't have a car.) rolleyes
So yeah... In the end, we ended up taking all the kids back to the academy, and then Paul taking me home. (BTW, Paul's car is nice~.) whee heart He said on the way to my house that it would be funny if my car took a while to fix. It'd be like the time when I had to go pick him up - only he'd have to do it for me. rolleyes But I think the main point of that topic would be that if that happened, I'd have to buy him lunch later. b*****d only wants food. He said so. xp
In any case, today was a little more eventfull that usual. wink Thanks to my tire going flat on me though, I got to ride in Paul's nice~ car. biggrin I want to steal it~! ninja In any case, it was interesting. Oh, and one of my students, a cute little boy named Terry, picked me a small bouquett of flower saying that he was sorry that my car broke down. When I asked him why he was so sorry though, he said it was because I'm stuck with Paul later when I go home. rolleyes 4laugh Such a sweet, considerate boy.
In any case, that's all that I really have to talk about. I still have to figure out when College Retreat is for the Michelles and the Pandies. Also, I need to weedle out some $$$ monies from my mother for gas, school supply shopping that I'm going to do with the girls later, and also for some free-spending money so that I can hang out with them. Oh, and I need to still save some so that me and boys from church (namely, Daniel, Danny and Phillip) can hang out on Sunday too. whee So yeah... sweatdrop I need monies...
And~ that's it. This is how lame my life is right now. sweatdrop Thanks for reading though!
I HATE YOU ALL~!!! scream whee 4laugh heart
