Contrary to what you may think, it is painful. Personally, I didn't find it all the "OMG I DIE!" Painful, but they had to pierce me twice in the same spot, so yeah, I did wince a bit. I didn't scream, nor whimper.
But now I feel kinda whoozy, like after a big adrenaline rush TuT;;
