I've been on Gaia originally since around 2006, and there's honestly very few things that I really didn't like.
When I didn't have cash I didn't like the cash shop, then I got cash and realized it wasn't all that.
When zOMG! was going to be released earlier to some users, I wasn't all that happy, then I got to play zOMG! and was like 'Meh s'okay'.
Any time gaia changed the layout of the page I got confused at the beggining, and I did get angry when they changed the marketplace, but I have found that these changes have made the site easier to use.
Now, on to what's going on in my mind.
This past week I've been lurking (yes, lurking) in the GCD and SF forums and I also went to 4chan.org out of curiosity, my dearest GOD the crazyness.
All I read was things that went along the lines of 'Gaia Sucks!' or 'Gaia is so elitist'; now honestly, I'm happy that Gaiaonline exists, I've met wonderful people here, not to mention it's the first of three sites I spend most of my day in (If not it's Fark.com or Deviantart.com), and even though the person who introduced me to gaia is no longer a friend of mine, I thank them for having done so.
About the sash thing that's been going on recently.
I think people groaning over pixels is stupid. But it's even worse when the pixels are actually free and something kind that Gaia decided to release for us, and they get slapped for it.
I've read so much hate that I feel sick of being in the forums, and not only that, I fear the developers themselves might just stop making or stop planning good things for us in the future.
In any case I just find it sick that so many people are complaining over something so simple.
Personally I loved that the Fremere's guard brought a sash pose with a tiny 'F' on it. It spiked hatred throughout the SF but hoenstly as early a stage as it is now Fremere's is one EI I really like.
So there's my mini rant that went off topic at some point. 3nodding
