Chapter Four

"Conniving snake wrapped around a helpless rose." Said a sly female voice. "Doesn't do much for the minds imagination." the voice then snickered. "Considering her condition and you lovely past with her."

Fair's wide eyes rose from Caracinia's face to meet with hateful, spiteful, mocking bright blue eyes. "Fera."

Fera grinned, tossing her long brown hair behind her shoulder. "Hello blondie. Your green eyes shine as bright as ever still." She looks down at Caracinia. "Poor little thing. Couldn't handle it." Fera shook her head, eyes closed. "Tsk, tsk."

Fair growled. The tone of his eyes darkening. "What have you done to her?"

"Fera eyes snapped open at her lips curled into a devious smile. "Ahh." She fakes an innocent face and voice, sway her body with hands locked together in front of her. "I only showed her what she asked for." Fera's arm wrap over her stomach as she bent over slightly, laughing.

Fair's grip tightened around Caracinia. "You took over her rose."

"That I did. Roja's spirit's nearly dead." Fera's grin darkenedat the thought of Caracinia's rose lying dead in a pile of its owners own blood. Snickering at these thoughts, Fera added in a please low voice. "You know what happens when Roja dies. She dies as well."

Shaking with rage as his grip tightens further on Caracinia, Fair's eyes darker from their natural light green shade. "Livana.." He choked, trying to keep his voice calm. "Livana!"

Livana turns from the arugment she had continued with Alex, running towards Fair's angered call. "What now?" She muttered as she rounded the corner to see a frightening image of the calm, cool, collective man she saw before. Looking beyond him, she stares at the woman standing within the doorway of Caracinia's room. "Fair? Are you alright? Who-?"

"Take Caracinia." Fair says through his teeth, cutting her off in mid sentence.

Fighting off the erge to ask why, Livana nods then rushes over to him. Placing her arms underneath Caracinia's still undressed body, she gently lifts her, being careful not to drop her in case Alex may have been right about Caracinia's weight when carried., Livana holds Caracinia to her stomach and chest. With another glance at the woman, she ran back to Alex, surprised at the fact of how light Caracinia really was. "Alex is such a whimp," She told herself before passing Alex.

"Hey!" Alex called, reaching out to grab Livana's shoulder. "What's going on? Why do you have her?" He nodded to Caracinia as he spoke. "Wasn't Fair taking care of her?"

"Fair...er...encountered a bit of a problem before he could get Caracinia to her room." Livana explained, rolling her eyes as the look on Alex's face. "Not that type of problem you perverted freak." She scowls then turns herself around once more as she heads for the stairs. "If you move your a**, I will tell you!" Livana called over her shoulder.

Alex's eyes flashed with curiousity slightly. He pauses for a moment then rushes up the stairs after Livana.

"Aw." Fera pouts. "You should of let her stay!" She licks her lips into a grin. "I was not done playing with her yet."

"You are done." Fair growls as his eyes darken to emerald, his eyes lock upon Fera.

Fera blinks. Smiling at the new look an her now made opponent's face, "You are not going to fight a woman, now are you?"

"You're not a woman." Fair opens then recloses his clenched fists as he eyes glowed darkly. "You're a beast."

"A beast?" Fera growled as her now vicious eyes locked upon his. Calming herself down slightly, she smirked. "If I am a beast," Fera's lip turned back into her devious smile before continuing, "Then what does that make you?"


"Heh, Only way to deal with a beast," Fair replied darkly, unclenching his fists as snakes slither in rhythm up his arms. Their scaley bodies glowing in the dim light as the wrapped around his neck. Their heads rested on Fair's, tail resting around his arms. The charm keeping his long blond hair tied back split in half and fell to the floor, spreading his hair around his face and shoulders. Fair's lips slowly curled into a dark, devious grin, revealing his venomous fangs. " His snake-like tongue trailed slowly over his fangs. "is to become a monster!"
