Book O' Stuff
Containing... stuff if you must know.
AHAHAHA!
I haff returnededed! >D XD

Anyway, I was randomly browsing around and I clicked on an image in a friend's siggy and it took me to this site that had those eggs that everyone has in their siggy. So I decided 'why not?' and ended up adopting them. Go figure. rolleyes

But that's not important. Recently, I've found (also by randomly clicking on a link, but this time it was in a news post on VG Cats) a really good webcomic called MegaTokyo. I must say that is utterly random at times, but it's extremely entertaining. And the best part is, each comic continues this great big story, and the art's really well done. And from that webcomic, I must also say that Largo is indeed an idiot, since he seems to see the whole world as a giant videogame. And he builds working computers from ceral boxes and spare parts. 3nodding And if you're interested in reading it, you need to start from the beginning or else the story won't make any sense at all. But don't sit in front of your computer and stare at the screen for 5+ hours looking through the 800-somethin' issues of the comic. You'll give yourself a pounding headache come morning. gonk

And here's another important fact: I'll be fourteen on the seventeenth. Go me. =D But there's something odd in the fact that Evenlei's Gaiaversairy is also on the seventeenth. Coincidende? I think not, even though we live in different states. But hey, internet can connect people no matter wherever they are. 3nodding

Plus, I've taken a renewed interest in video games. Yup, I've been tearing myself off of my computer and Gaia to go and sit in a dark corner in my room to play Pokemon Emerald and Golden Sun: The Lost Age for 3+ hours. Or to sit on the basement couch with the light in that area turned off to play Phantasy Star Online Episode Three: C.A.R.D Revolution, Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, and Super Smash Brothers Melee. Crazy fun, SSBM. 'Specially when I'm playing as Bowser and kicking the tar out of Roy. Roy goes flying easily, and goes farther when I hit him with a Smash attack. Which is funny, in a way. My sister (AAkim) almost always plays as Roy (I say almost since I unlocked Mewtwo the other day and she likes playing as him too) and she has absolutely no clue how to do Smash attacks but refuses to let be teach her how. Then she gets all mad when I Smash her into the air continously until she flies off into a KO, and says that I didn't let her do anything. But that's not my fault. There are a number of things that you can do while up in the air, but she doesn't seem to want to do any. What a pity. SSBM is her game too.

I've seen some really great movies since I last updated my journal. The Pest is one of my favorites. If any of you reading this have seen that movie, my favorite part is when Pest and his friend Chubs are in his other friend Ninja's car, and they end up turning the car into a giant speaker-system-thing and the music's so loud that it shatters all of the windows in the car next to them as wel as causing it to break down and knock the guys inside it unconsious. Then Pest takes their tickets so that he can get into this party across the street. It's hillarous, really.
I saw the fourth Harry Potter movie the week before last. At least, I think it was the week before last. Anyway, it was much better done than the third, and just about everyone I've talked to agree. And I seem to be the only one who noticed this, but in the scene when Harry is holding the little figure of the dragon in his hand, its tail goes through his finger. But you'll miss it unless you're looking for it.
The game, however, I can't say was as well done as the movie. First there's the book, then the movie takes the events and changes them horribly, then the game takes the already twisted events of the movie and bends them even further. It's still a fun game, but would be made better if you could rotate the camera just like you can in the third game, as wel as having a more distinct symbol to show what target your character is focused on. It's frustrating, trying to see where your little target-select-dot is when all of the colors are so dark and you can't zoom in the camera to help see things a bit clearer. And how it won't let you get too far apart in multiplayer mode. But just having the multiplayer mode is a first in the Harry Potter games and is a plus.
But a while before that, we had given my dad Monty Python and the Holy Grail DVD for his birthday this past December. Already seen it twice, and even from the opening credits we're laughing almost to the point of suffocation. Aaah... the Sweedish subtitles... I can cite a good portion of them too. 'Why not take a vacation to Sweeden this year?' 'See all the lovely lakes.' 'And many little furry animals.' 'Including the majestic moose.' 'A moose bit my sister once...' 'No really! She was carving her innitials into its rear with the sharpened end of a galatic toothbrush given to her by -someone-, brother of -someone else-, who starred in many movies, such as -movie title-, -another movie title-, -a third movie title-, -yet another movie title-, and -a fifth movie title--' then it gets cut off and says 'We apologize for the fault in the subtitles. Those responsible have been sacked.' Then I forget how the rest goes (along with the names of the guys mentioned and the nonexistant movies that are mentioned), but it's hillarious. If you're stuck in your house for the rest of the weekend with a nasty headcold, then I strongly suggest either having a sibling/parent run out to BlockBuster and renting/buying this movie. 3nodding

Wow... this has got to be the longest rant I've ever had, apart from those times when I decided to give in and type entire battle sequences from my Golden Sun game. Nah... this has got to be at least four or five times longer than that boss fight that I typed up. But the odd thing is, it took me about 45 minutes to type that fight up while playing through it on my GameBoy, yet it took me only about 15 minutes or so to type everything in this journal entry. O.o It's freaky, really... that and the almost unbelieveably realistic fake British accent that I sometimes speak with. 3nodding ninja
