Puddles gleam to the sun Sparkle far and wide Skies overhead...so desolate... deep and dark To where it may catch my eye Misty greys and deepend sapphire Crystal fall with man's pain Wait for a hole to surface Wait, wait for your loving rain Fat, round, succulent rain Sweep my feet off ground so slain Avoid my heart as you melt it this way So it may switly, be drifting, to drain Oh mirror of rain As you fall I can only see What peace and mindless folly Is the creator of me So deepend is my sorrow, alas! It is of a peace you bring Stretch from my past Voiceless may you sing So evading of truth Yet it is truth you bring Condescending to self Hypocricy to a Free Sorrow so deep in my only rain Mournings so pure of only my fears So rain, I thank you for releasing my pain And never letting them know of my drunken tears
