DH, Wednesday 24 Nov 2004, afternoon

I realized earlier this year that I had found what seems to be my ideal boyfriend. Unfortunately for me, he comes in three parts, each of which contains certain qualities I would like.

Part #1 is hot, Part #2 is clever and intelligent, and I just feel comfortable around Part #3. They are all nice guys, but I can't see myself with any one of them.

1 is hot on the level of Gackt and is always smiling. However, he is more interested in cuter and more approachable girls, which is understandable. Anyway, I don't know him very well, and I am not comfortable enough with him to have a relationship.

2 is extremely intelligent and witty. He is the type of person that can keep you entertained for hours with interesting facts, stories, and observations. He shares some interests with me (He's in my Japanese class, and we both like history), and he's pretty cute (and tall!). Despite all of this, I don't feel comfortable enough around him to just relax. He's the type of person that would make almost anyone else seem stupid by comparison, so I feel I have to watch what I say.

3 is someone I feel completely comfortable with. He is laidback and friendly, and he can be really funny. Of course, he doesn't seem like the type of person I can have an intellectual conversation with, and we don't seem to share many interests. And I have to admit, he's not the most attractive person. (He's average, as compared to 1's Gackt-ness and 2's cute smirks.)

Looking back over my list, I feel hopelessly picky.However, I'm coming to terms with the fact that I might not find anyone I would really like to date while I'm still in high school.

So, how long until college again?
