Dihnoro's diary
This is a journal about his earlier life and personal notes (very detailed)
The Attack
Walking down the winding path outside a nocturnal forest, Dihnoro was going over his memories of his old world. Blanking out the fading noise from the bustling town, he tucked his hands inside his pockets, head facing down to the cobbled ground, slowly turning to hard dirt as Dihnoro kept going. Focusing purely on his thoughts, he payed no attention to the rustling noises coming from the hidden forest, he just thought they were part of the forest's background sounds, like a blackbird chirping or a woodpecker drilling away at a hole. Moving through the bushes were infact wood thieves, following Dihnoro's footsteps to try and ambush and steal from him. They were almost far enough from the town now, and Dihnoro still hadn't noticed a thing. Finally out of view from anyone else, the bandits jumped out. Dihnoro was dragged out of his remeniscing, and into an uncomfortable situation. "Give us all you have, or we'll kill ya!" One of the thieves piped up. " I don't have anything, I swear!" Dihnoro said, slightly annoyed, as he knew somehow they wouldn't believe him. " Listen to how posh he sounds! He must be a duke or summit! He has to have something! Stop pretending and give us your money!" Another shouted out. The thieves were getting impatient now, surely from waiting all this time just to be messed about by some lier. They drew closer towards Dihnoro, knives at the ready, and hands too, ready to come back with counter spell to fend off Dihnoro's attempts to free himself. Dihnoro was starting to panick, he knew if he got his needles out then they would all just charge at him, and if he were to use magic, their's would definitely overpower his. A tremendious energy started building up inside him, making him glow a fantastic bright yellow. He began to look not like Dihnoro, but like a puppet, being controlled by something. A seal appeared right infront of him, magic infused light tracing the ground. When the seal was complete, a figure began to emerge, not much bigger than Dihnoro. The glowing stopped, and Dihnoro returned to normal. You could see perfectly well that the figure was not from this world. "Glaryx, God of light, you heard my call..." Dihnoro gasped in honour. The thieves were stunned by this, practicly frozen by utter fright. "Well, let's see what we can do about these," Glaryx said, nodding her head towards the bandits. A shining blast of light burst out from the gods' hand, oblitorating the bandits within a second. "Uh, thanks," Dihnoro gratefully thanked the god. "Any time," she replied. "You have my summon, call upon it whenever your in need. Oh, and Dihnoro, you really must let your old life go, there is no way you can return to where you were from, so make the most of what you have now," she said, giving the Astralan man a deep look. "I will, I promise," Dihnoro said, making sure he will keep that word, and returning back to the town with a new leap in his step.
