Well, today was pretty good! Not only was it Mom's b-day (Though we didn't get to spend time together because we both had work... crying ), but our DM came in. Why is it good? Well, she was actually happy with the store! She didn't touch even ONE display and rearrange it! She had NOT A SINGLE complaint!!! Meaning I did good with cleaning last night, to her standards.

But also, I got to get one of those aqua massages from one of the other stores. And man does it feel good! whee Needless to say, I was in a GOOD mood today! Heh, and I even found out that the guy or company that's gonna start selling fudge to us (so we can sell fudge again), gave US some fudge for ourselves! XD Nice day today!! And the customers were well behaved! For the past 2 days to boot!

As usual, our DM did SOMETHING to our store (not the displays though). This time, it was adding a Gift Card/Rewards feature to our card reader machine. She put in our Store Manager and our other Associate Manager, and told our SM to learn how to do it herself so she could put me and Masked-Moon in. Problem: Our DM didn't make her instructions too clear. But our SM made a few notes. So after everyone was gone, I started messing with the card machine to try and figure everything out, since our DM said "You have 6 days to figure this out.". And of course, everyone was thinking "6 days? That's not long enough! We need more time!" Of coarse, that wasn't up for debate. Well, as my previous 2 "mess around moments", this one proved highly productive! I figured out maybe 80%- 90% of the functions with our new cards! 6 days? Who needs 6 days? xp One day and most of it is figured out already! As our DM said "It's easy [to figure out]", yeah, when you know what you're doing. xd So, needless to say, I'm going to be the teacher when it comes to the gift cards now. ^^'

At least something can be said for semi-slow days, nothing to do, and a little something that stumps the whole staff (Which isn't saying much when the 'whole staff' only consists of 4 people XD).

Oh, and our order? Can we say "small"? The reason why Masked-Moon didn't accompany me tonight was because not only was the order small and managable, but our SM says that when we work together on shipment nights, the count goods don't get finished and it takes at least 2 days to finish. ^^' Well, when there's only one person pricing and the count good order is even relativly big, yeah, it may take two days. With two people, it may not be so bad. But I'm usually in the back room handling the bulk part of the order.
