A love story so unthinkable that you with them a happy ending. This is the story, or Kari and kaden.
Kaden was a stubborn 16 year old, but he had a heart of pure gold. If you asked him to do something, he would procrastonate but in the end you got exactly what you asked for and more. He was so stubborn that when he fell in love, he wouldnt admit it and he hid it from all of his friends, and sadly, the girl that filled his dreams. Every night, kadens thoughts were filled with this girl. He thought of running his fingers through her thick hair, and of holding her hand as they walked down a moonlit beach. He felt as though she would never notice him, and he gave up on the very though of speaking to her. He tried and failed to banish Kari from his thoughts.
Little did he know that the love of his life felt the very same way. It was unthinkable the way she shared his dreams of moonlit stroles and tender moments. She however, was not so stubborn. After a night filled with romantic dreams she knew what she had to do. For the first time in her dreams, he had almost kissed her. But as his lips neared hers and their breath mixed, she woke with a start. It was that moment that she decided that she needed to find him and talk to him.
As the day began, Kari walked the halls of her high school looking for his face. It wasn't until there was almost no time left that she found his eyes. Her gaze lingered and she took off towards him. As she reached him, she took hold of his wrist, not wanting to seem in any ways desperate by taking his hand, and led him towards the library. Kaden felt the energy she gave him with the slightest of touches. He became afraid that he was about to be lead to the slaughter. He feared that she had found out about his secret affections and was going to tell him off.
They entered the silence of the library with a few minutes to spare before they had to part to their first classes.
"There are things that you need to know Kaden," Kari wispered, not wanting to draw attention.
Looking at his watch, "It'll have to wait, I have to get to class."
"Is there somewhere i can meet you after school?" she asked with a gleam of hope in her eyes. Kaden noticed the tone of her voice and felt his heart skip a beat. This may be his only chance to tell her how he really felt. As he took her hand in his the warning bell rang.
"The park at four. I'll wait for you at the bench by the pond" he took off not looking back long enough to see kari walk away, unsure of what he would say.
Kaden sat on a bench facing the small pond in the park. He felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked up and saw kari smiling down on him. That was exactly how he felt about her, she was everything to him. She sat down beside him and took his hand. This time she too felt the connection of energy between them.
"Kaden, have you ever walked on a moonlit beach and had the most amazing time of your life? And it only ends when you wake up?"
"You will never know." As she opened her mouth to respond he captured her lips in the kiss that they had both woken up before. But this was no dream. As Kari opened her eyes, Kaden pulled way. A smile krept to her lips.
"I love you" was all Kaden could say before Kari closed the gap between them for another kiss.
