Noah shut the door behind him as he made his way towards the lake. The sun was setting over the hills across the lake. Noah walked slowly down the street, dragging his feel lazily beneath him. He slipped of his sandals as he reached the sand, setting them under a bench. He looked up at the night sky. The stars were brighter than usual and there were no clouds in sight. He sat down about 10 feet from the waters edge. Noah rested his head on his crossed arms behind his head. He looked from side to side, and even though the sky was clear, he could see very little. A voice began to sing. He jumped up, having not realized the presence of anyone else. It was a beautiful alto voice singing Josh Groban's"Starry Starry Night." He stood up. He took a step toward the benches at the edge of the beach. He saw her sitting on a picnic table, hair down and eyes closed. Noah walked quietly to her, stopping only when he was right in front of her, only a foot or two away. She opened her eyes as she finished the song. She blushed in the moonlight as he took her hand and started singing Groban's "My Confession." His eyes were glowing with love as he sang words of affection to her. As he finished the song, he kissed her.
