Continuation again of the story.
Once she got there she let out a long, heavy sigh. The teacher stood up and began talking. Avera paid attention and followed directions all through class. But at the back of her mind she kept wondering about Kyanna and Yinoi. Yinoi the jerk, with a great body and an even better smile who seemed really nice actually and was as Kyanna put it drop dead gorgeous. Wait what am I thinking?! Avera suddenly stated in her head getting her thoughts back under control. The rest of the time was spent focusing every thought on the class not letting a single one stray. When the bell finally rang she felt exhausted and wanted to take a nap. So she decided to go outside to one of the inner courtyards. The one she went to was a favorite of hers it was a garden, for the most part, but it was more than a garden. It was filled with flowers and trees, shrubs and all sorts of different plants. There were so many types of each plant, flower, and tree. It was the prettiest place on campus. The queen, wife of Bako, who had donated the palace, had made this courtyard specifically for herself and the king. As a place for them to relax, and enjoy a small amount of time together. It was Avera’s favorite place to go in the whole school; she went there when she wanted to be alone, and no thought to look for her there. It was hidden behind a tapestry, and the entire courtyard had been covered with a magic spell so that the plants didn’t need water and so that they would never wither. There were roses, dragon snaps, carnations, jasmine, lavender, lilacs, weeping willows, birches, maples and so many more that she couldn’t name. The only other person who knew it was there was Kyanna, of course. Stepping into the sunlight Avera smiled up at the sky and walked over to a weeping willow tree. She parted the branches, walked to the trunk, turned and slid down to sit against it. Happily she sighed, and began to relax, the sweet smell of roses and jasmines, enticed her weary mind to sleep. I’ll just take a small nap and be ready to go to my next class afterwards, thought Avera drowsily. She slowly drifted to sleep, letting the beauty and calmness settle over her. Hmm, now this is the life, she thought right before she fell asleep. When she opened her eyes again it was dark everywhere. Oh no, I overslept, was the first thought in Avera’s head. She started to gather her things then stopped suddenly. There was someone trying to find her. She felt it again with her mind, automatically, the walls went up. Quickly now she gathered her things and half-ran to get back into the school. She was very cautious when she opened the door, gently pushing the tapestry aside. She glided quietly into the hall, and closed the door behind her. Avera glanced both ways to see if anyone was coming. No one was near, or saw her. She let out a sigh of relief. It’s probably around dinnertime so I should head that way, Avera thought. She looked down at her clothes and saw they were a bit muddy from sleeping under the tree. She had fallen leaves in her hair and leaves on her clothes from running out. Or maybe I should skip dinner, and head to my room instead, she decided. I’ll just tell Kyanna I didn’t feel well, Avera added. By the time she got to her room dinner had just let out. Avera knew Kyanna would come straight to their room. So she hastily cleaned herself up, and put on her pajamas. She ruffled her hair a bit to seem as though she had just gotten up. Avera took her things and began to organize them. She had been sitting on her bed for 10 seconds before Kyanna burst through the door of their room. “Where have you been?!” she asked agitated and worried. She stormed over to Avera’s bed, and stood right in front of slightly shocked Avera, and planted her fists on her hips. “I didn’t feel well,” Avera mumbled. She went back to organizing her stuff. Avera knew Kyanna, was glaring at her. She hated it; Avera never liked feeling people’s eyes upon her. She dared a small glance up Kyanna looked furious. Avera put on an innocent look quickly on her face. Kyanna’s anger melted all of a sudden and she collapsed on Avera’s bed. “I hate you so much,” she mumbled into the bed. She turned on her side to look at Avera who was quite confused. “I really wish you had been at dinner,” Kyanna stated, as she started to push herself up. “I wanted to talk to you so badly,” she continued getting off the bed. She walked over to her dresser and started getting changed into pajamas. “What did you want to talk about?” Avera asked. I can probably guess though, she added in her thoughts. “Well, I wanted to talk about a blonde-hair, blue-eyed boy who I think likes me,” Kyanna exclaimed.
