Anyways, I drew this 2 years ago, completely drawn on microsoft paint with a mouse. Took me 15 hours to do. I looked at a real photo of me and drew it out on the computer. I'm very pleased with how it came out.

It's too bright- The shading should be much darker just under the hair line and on the arm.

- It's actually quite simple, start off with the darkest color and work your way up to lighter colors. The key is to use color that are close to eachother, not going from an extreme dark color to a medium color, then you see the big color gap.
