• Reflections, Visions of the Past

You haunt me like a ghost.

You seize my dreams and make them horrid.

Why must you follow my every footstep?

Do you mean to cause me harm?

    My distressing past created you.

Now you won’t leave me alone.

If you are nothing but a vision of horrible days, how can you can you hurt me so?

My past, will you haunt my future?

    Will you never cease?

Will I ever have a happy day again?

My dearest memories have all faded because of this reflection, this vision, which haunts me so.

Will you never just let me be?

Must you chase my happiness away?

You horrible dream of distressing days, leave me as I write these words.

Stay within the pages of this book.

    Never haunt me again.

Stop these reflections, these visions of the past.
