When we were young and oh, so free
We played together happily
Climbing trees and riding bikes
Throwing balls and taking hikes
When we were best friends for life
We laughed and passed notes, without any strife
Making friends and memories
Testing our abilities
When we were together, and it could never end
Coming was such we could not comprehend
So naive, but the best times we had
Thinking that we could never be sad
When you left for duty's call
I tried to persuade you with my all
But you got on that plane and never came back
They say that you died in a bombing attack
Now I am old, and will never be free
Without you here, I can never be
I'm so alone now, without you
Our coming reunion is long overdue
When we were young and oh, so free
We knew that we would never be
Really happy without the other
Me and my beloved brother
