- @Pika: The problem with something non mainstream is that it doesnt usually get the attention of more mainstream costumes. Ive seen MANY amazing out-of-the-box cosplays not make it because 5 pokemon cosplays won the arena, or another sailor moon, or Kingdom Hearts cosplay won. Its sad.

2Michiko: So...Its unoriginall... even though NO red cosplayers used aNY of these items before I did? I mean, I entered this within a day or two of the tiems coming out. no Red cosplays, aside from one other (not using any of these) was entered.ALSO no Red Cosplay

The point of the Cosplay Arena is to cosplay. But to do so in a way that sets it apart from the common cosplay. If you are going to do Ash from Pokemon, then do so in a way where we can tell it's him, but without using the typical items we see. Be daring. That is what the arena's is about.
