Teto is a troll created by the VOCALOID fans and many mistake her to actually be one. Her initial release was an April Fool's joke but the TETO project continued after the campaign. She found her place with UTAU but for the next half year both went unnoticed. She managed to get enough traction to appear in official VOCALOID products after being licensed by Crypton Media Future.
