I just came up with this from boredom and messing around with items.
When we die we return to the earth in some form. when she was created to protect the earth from some of the people who left this world. When created she was given human form, but her skin is made of dirt, vines and other plants. Her choose weapon for her job is a scythe and she holds a shovel to replant with the souls of humans who dare to mess with her or the earth.
