Somewhere in the jungle, Xaru is a deity that preys not only on human flesh, but on their very souls. Children are told not to enter its caverns, as it will devour them completely. For years, hunters from the villages have tried to slay this monstrosity of a beast.
They often ask what this is.
I merely call it something from the bowels of one's darkest imagination.
