• chapter 2
Lavi went to work right away, placing books, and organizing files. She was up on the ladder leaning on the farthest shelve of books; when she saw Celton out of the corner of her eye talking to a strange robbed man. She couldn't tell what they were saying, but it looked too weird to be someone he knew as an aquaintance.
She tried to move the ladder down the bookshelf so she could hear better, but instead she lost her balance and fell off! Thud! She crashed onto a pile of books.
"Ouch!" She exclaimed. Celton saw this and quickly went to help her up.
"Are you okay?" He asked while helping her out of the pile of books she was laying in.
" Yep! It is not the first time, I fell off the ladder into a pile of books. Sometimes I am glad the books are there to break my fall." Lavi laughed while extending her left hand so he could help pull her up.
Celton smiled and shook is head at her. When he pulled her up he was staring at her left hand. Lavi had a unique birthmark on it, it was in a shape of flower with vines around. Lavi noticed him staring at it, and said,
"Oh I had that since I was born, weird uh. "
" Yeah, but I have this feeling I have seen that birthmark somewhere." Celton exclaimed.
Lavi took her hand out his, although she wouldn't mind it being held by him forever, is hands looked rough like workers, but they were soft as dough.
" So who was that man, you were talking to, if you don't mind me asking?" Lavi asked couriously.
"Oh that, is a long story, but since you might be the one we have been looking for in a long time; might as well tell you." Celton explained.
    Lavi stared at him confused.
" Okay from that look, I think you want to hear the story, meet me after work at the coffee shop on the corner of this street. I will explain everything then." Celton said while heading back to work.
Lavi wondered the rest of day at work what was so important about this birthmark of hers, she will soon find out later.
