• Standing on top of the hill overlooking the graveyard, Aubree would turn, A few crimson tears slip down her elegant pale cheeks.
As she clutched a dead rose in her long, pale finger tips, she sighed with remorse. " Never again shall I feel his touch. Never again will his lips touch mine. Not one more night of this eternity spent in his arms, under the stars." Her lips trembled as she spoke softly in her sing-song voice. Like so meny stars, she knew thier love was never meant to last. Such a long and hard road they had been down a time or two. Always togather, and never alone.
Aubree slowly began the desent down the long path away from his grave. An unmarked grave... The one thing he desired if he shoulod ever leave.
Feeling utterly alone and isolated, She wept. Her beautiful crystal blue eyes were glistening with the tears of blood. " Alone I began, alone I will stand. Never another will I know, to make me feel that way, As the summer grew short, so did his time. My fallen angel. My Angel of death. Damion, I wish you were here. The snow so fresh, the wind so cold." With every word spoken she grew even more so depressed, and more than that, Angry. " Why did you leave me? My sweet prince of darkness? My so alone and afraid? Alone for the world know's not I am alive. Afraid of this unknown life without you... Why leave me now? Just as they hunt? Why leave me when I need you most?" She sunk to her knees of both agony and of hunger. She had never hunted alone, for if something had gone wrong, she would be even more so doomed.
" My sweet prince... I shall leave you now... This world of the flesh means not one thing to I with out you in it. I will stay here, forever more. This cold dark night, I let it embrace me. Let it take me where I belong, Into the darkness of death's cold embrace." As the sun arose she had smiled. Tearing the pendant of amber and onyx from her slender neck, she held it fast. " Take me now. Finish what you have started. Death My not be as hard, For I know you are there. My angel of death... My prince of darkness... My one only love... Damion." As his name came from her lips, one last breath, one last tear, and her last smile to the world of man. The suns' ray's glistened on her Ivory skin, turning it black and to ash. She felt no pain, only regret. As the pendant slipped from her finger tips, her body fell and crumbled, becomeing one with the earth. The rose she had held had now came alive, returning to it's former red glory, there it lay, next to her ashes and the pendant of life she wore. The sun beaming off of the freshly fallen snow.
