• The halways were packed, as usuall, Cassandra thought, by why do these girl have to crowd around in the halways, why can't they go find an empty classroom? She wondered as she pushed her way through a groub of girls grouded around the "coolest" and stupidist (she would say) girl of the school. A few girls stumbled as Cassandra pushed her way through, some fell on others and knocked them over, Cassandra didn't really care, it was their fault for standing in the middle of the hallway. Some of them cast angry looks at her and looked like they were about to push her over, she heard a cuckle form somewhere...

It was strange, she was around the same age she was now, maybe a year older and was walking through a large garden. She went to sit at a fountain because she was so so thirsty, but she never got a drink. As soon as her back was turned to the rest of the garden she felt strong hand grip her shoulders. She noticed, for the first time that she was wearing a bright saphire dress and her hair was done in some style she didin't know. The hands on her shoulders pulled her up, she twisted trying to get a look at the man's face. She only say black hair. The head turned...

And she saw the face of Kyle Raven and several other kids of the school standing over her.
"You okay? What happened?" Her friend Amy Van Dermale cried out halping her get to her feet.
"Why did happen?" Cassandra asked puzzled.
Several of the crowd shifted nervously before Kyle said, "It was strange, you were pushing your way through the crowd and them you stopped, went all rigid and fell, a whole bunch of girls fell with you, it was quite funny actually, if you don't mind me saying and you were the only one who didn't scream or shriek you just well fell. And everyone was wondering what happened so Adam here sugested we pinch you shoulders and shout in both ears, what we're taught in swimming lesson. So we did that and then you sorta twisted and turned and them woke up!"

"Here's you bag," Amy said, picking up her now open bag which she used to carry books. "And here's your binder."

"Common you lot, clear off," A teacher had finaly arrived."

A book toppled out of Cassandra's bag and fell at Kyle's feet, he picked it up and looked at the tittle, engrave in gold letters the title read Old Family's, Family's of Power and broken Family's . "Can I borrow this?" He asked.
"Sure," she replied, "but please return it, I don't know how many books i've lent and never gotten back"

All through history Kyle read the book under his desk, he was determind to read it cover to cover to find a Raven. His foster parent had told him that the Raven's had been a weathly family who had fallen into disorder during the world wars. From the book he learned much more, a large text was devoted to the Raven family:

The Raven family was a very wealthy family with their amazing manor, guardens and property. No-one knows how they got the money for they seamed to do nothing but hunt, ride of do sport. In the mideval days it was suspected that they were witches and wizards but that belief never botterd the church, for they recived large donations from the family. They were said to have fabelous gardens with the most amazing fountains and yet they had no servants. The ravens house, though it lies empty is still supposedly owned by the Raven family and every other owner has met strange deaths inside the house thus it was returned to the Raven family. The last famous Raven was Kyle Raven who was born in 1814 and supossedly spent his time triking pretty young ladies into the garden. Because when he was born a prophecy was writen that if any female could find her way through the garden to the central fountain and attempted to drink from the silver liquid that lay in the fountain she would be his soul mate and over a hundred year latter they would be re-born.
The Raven house is located at 1730 Paderputty lane, Cornwall, England.

Kyle clossed the book, his eyes wide, Cornwall, he thought, that just ten kilometers away, I could go and take a look. But i'd have to bring someone, it would be spooky there
He was revolted by the previous Kyle Raven, but he didn't belive in spells or prophcies.

In history class the students always sat in the seats asigned to them. Cassandra sat beside Kyle. Halfway through the class, when the teacher was writing notes on the board, she felt a heavy thing tap against her knee. It was Kyle handing her back the book, "Thanks," he mouth as she reached over and took the book, for a breif seccond their hands brushed against each other...

She was back in the garden standing by the fountain, but this time she was in the arms of the unknown stranger. She felt something feathery and soft brush against her skin and out of the corner of her eye saw a pair of giant golden wing. The wing serounded her, rocking her back and forth as the man spum her around...

Kyle was pinching her hard on the leg and hissed, "want to go for a bike ride after school?"

"Uh sure, where?" She asked stunned the the coolest boy in the school was asking her out.

"Oh just to Cornwall, there's something I want to see there, aparantly my family had a mansion there and nobody's been able to live there since them, I want to take a look," he explained.

After school Kyle packed his bags at top speed, he barely had any homework and didn't have any sport practices after school. He met Cassandra at her locker in the process of telephoning her mom to tell her that she would be late.
"Ready?" he asked as she hung up her celphone and locked her locker.
"As ready as can be," she replied.
It took them about twenty minutes to get to Cornwall, and another five to find the house. When they fist cause sight of it their jaws dropped.
It was a humungous mansion five stories Kyle would guess and the back yard coverd the whole block. It didn't look like some old abandoned mansion, but a brand new one.

Their was a sing on the front door which read none may enter this house except members of the Raven family and those invited by the master of the house Kyle Raven.

As his eyes fell across the sing his mouth opened in shock...

He was wearing a green tunic and breeches, odest of all he had a pair of long golden wings. He was strolling through a garden, following a pretty lady in a blue dress, she sat down by a fountain, his heart was burning and he walked over to her placed his hand on her shoulders and pulled her up, trying to get a glimps of her face...

"Ouch!" he exclaimed, Cassandra was pocking him on the back.
"Shall we go in, or do you want to stare at the door all day?" She asked.
"Look at the sign," he said pointing at the door.
She read the sing, opened the door and said, "you first, nice you you've got here," grinning.

As they walked into the house they seamed to grow a bit older. They explored the house for a long time always together. They discoverd that their were three master bedrooms and six single bedrooms, a huge dinning hall an amazing kitchen a huge living room and five bathrooms.

"Want to check out the gardens?" She asked.
"You go, meet you at the central fountain, I need to use the toilet," he replied leaving her alone in the hallway.

She made her way slowly through the garden along the main path, her feet taking her though she didn't know where she was going, eventually she got to the main fountain and sat down.
Five minutes latter Kyle came out and sat down beside her, "amazing garden," he comented.
They sat there in silence for a long while untill Cassandra broke the silence, "I am quite thirsty."
"Odly enough I am to, maybe we should drink from the fountain?" he oferd.
"Yes, I think we should," she replied.
They bent over the fountain and drank deeply.

Cassandra was back in the garden, being rocked in the strange mans wings, he turned her around very fast and pressed his mouth to hers. It was so fast, she never caught a glimps of his face, still rocking her in his wings, her held her hands firmly in his.

Kyle was in the garden again, walking through the hedges, following the lady, when she sat down to drink at the fountain, a burning desire which he had never felt before overcame him and he snuck forward place his hand on her shoulders and pulled her up. He rocked her in his strange wing, then over come with the desire to see her face, spun her around and hissed her.

When they finally seperated and sat down, they awoke from their dreams, something strange had hapened though, they had both grown considerably more mature looking, Kyle now had wings and their clothing was different.
"This is a strange place," she commented airly.
"You can say that again," he said softly, taking her had.
