~*~ Heartless Wind: Unrelenting Supremacy ~*~

The wind blew across the pale yellow grass, bending it, manipulating it. The wind would blow north, then change east, testing the flexibility of the grass.
    Satisfied, it moved on.
It blew against the pine forest that loomed over the field, watching the grass bend and turn. The wind could not penetrate the tree’s, they stood firm and strong, refusing the winds attempts to bend them.
The wind moved again, it moved along the outside of the tree’s coaxing them, teasing them, but still they stood firm, refusing him entry.
    A barrier.
The tree’s protected a secret, a secret place, which if found, would mean the ending of one of the worlds.
The tree’s alone were not trusted, this much the wind knew. As it blew around the tree’s, trying to find a way in, it remembered two girls which it had seen here previously, two girls who had no trouble entering the woods, two girls who were not rejected by the forest, but were gladly welcomed in.
It was these two girls that the wind was seeking.
Catch them, use their powers, and the other realm would be his. The wind moved on, searching relentlessly for an entrance to the forest.

Osore opened her eyes. Something was calling out to her, trying to draw her away from her lovely warm bed.
The voice was desperate, crying out in pain.
Osore closed her eyes and pulled the pillow over her head, figuring that if she couldn’t hear it, it didn’t exist, thus allowing her to sleep longer.
“OSORE!!! SAVE ME!!!” Came the cries again.
Realizing that the noise wasn’t going to stop unless she did something about it, She got out of bed, letting her duck down dona pool at her feet as she took long graceful steps towards the window and opened it with enough force to crack the window sill.
    Which she did.
She scanned the garden bed below her, seeking the source of the sound so she could silence it. Her eyes trailed over the overgrown rose bushes and the weeds that littered the yard.
Later, she decided, later I will take care of that bloody garden.
Her eyes continued on and narrowed as she located the source of the sound.
There, rolling on the ground was her friend, Kohaku, who was currently being attacked by little pixies.
    Her eye began to twitch.
"What have you done now Kohaku? Were you making fun of them again?" Kohaku was fighting the pixies to set her free. Three were pulling on her hair while many others were pulling on her clothes and pinching her skin.
"Just get me out of here please!!" Kohaku screamed at Osore trying to get free of the pixies grasp.
"Why should I? You got yourself into this mess and you can get yourself out." Osore twisted a piece of hair in her fingers as she watched Kohaku struggle with the pixies.
    It amused her.
Kohaku continued to struggle but eventually managed to get free.
"Some help you were Osore." Osore smiled slightly and walked outside to join her friend.
"I'm sorry, it was just so amusing to watch you wrestle with them." Osore's smile widened.
"Yeah yeah, don't we have chores to do?" Kohaku said as she took out her long braid in her hair so she could fix it.
"You are washing the tigers this time!" Osore snapped! "I am not going to do your job again." Kohaku giggled.
"Alright, but that means you have laundry to do."

Osore and Kohaku have been best friends since childhood and did just about everything together. They are so different and yet, so much the same. They were each born into a different clan within the Forest of Clans, a secluded place that was home to all the clans of the Elemental Millennium. Kohaku, born of water and Osore, born of fire. Each of them are one of the best from their clan.

Kohaku and Osore are from a mysterious land hidden deep within a secluded forest far away from any other life forms. Humans have been trying to locate this place for centuries and have failed each time. The humans think this place could be the original "Eden", the place that is the next closest to Heaven. This special place is invisible to the human eye, they lack the soul to see it. Their minds are too clouded with the ideas of power and greed.

This forest is home to all the clans of the Elemental Millennium. Earth, Water, Fire, and. . .well it is home to at least three of the clans. Wind, is a clan to be feared. All the clan leaders decided ages ago that wind was too powerful. All it's members resembled the look of demons, dark demons. There were also rumors said that they were secretly practicing the forbidden antics of "Black Magic". All the clan leaders saw it acceptable to ban the clan from the forest for all eternity. The wind clan leader, Ayumu was infuriated. He felt that he just realized the true colors of the clan leaders, that all they wanted was to keep salvation away from them because they did not seem worthy; the outcast family. Ayumu swore revenge on all the clans of the Elemental Millennium for banning them to live in the Wasteland as it was called forever barred from entry to the Forest of Clans.

The Forest is a place rich with nature and beauty. The clans live together in peace and the villages are suited for the needs of each elemental clan. The Fire clan is housed closest to the sun to give them strength. The water clan is placed closest to the biggest source of water in the entire forest so they can better strengthen their power and train their future warriors. Earth is placed upon the richest soil for perfecting their martial arts and earth-type fighting style and also for planting their special crops that keep them strong. Each clan is provided with things that they need based on the area that the mighty gods placed them in.

They are also protected by their respective god and are rewarded with a power source from their respective god that is provided to them by the forest. Their power is homed by their clan gem. Earth is fueled by Jade, Water by Sapphire, Fire by Garnet, and Wind by Diamond.
Since Wind's split from the forest, they were forced to find an alternate power source in order for their culture to live on. The clan members combined their blood with quartz crystals that they found around their new homeland and used them to fuel their powers and to draw their strength from.

But enough with the clan history, lets get onto our two golden girls.

First there is Osore, the eldest daughter of the Fire clan. Here is a little brief history on her and the Fire clan.

All tigers from the fire clan are giant orange beasts with black stripes, typical of a Siberian Tiger. Osore was born as an oddity, she was a white tiger, a genetic defect, not because of inbreeding thank you very much, this isn’t an ancient Greek myth.
As a result of this birth defect, she was bullied a lot growing up by the other kids, but hey, she didn’t care, she was stronger than them and she beat them up for it, but she was always alone and the rest of the clan resented her.
Fire is controlled by her clan, no s**t Sherlock, but their flames are usually orange and normal fire, but Osore’s was a blue and white flame, reflected her tiger coloring genetically defectiveness.

Mother and Father, Mother dead, her father re married and had other children, but Osore is the oldest and the strongest.

She has a twin brother, Taomus who has no feline form and she takes it upon herself to help and protect him against the other nasties in her clan. This is one reason why Kohaku and Osore practice Black magic, to attempt to create a feline soul for him.

Her mother was killed by the clan when Osore was out hunting with her father because she was pregnant again and she had already birthed two defected children. She was seen as a witch and a dabbler of the black arts which was why her children were born defected, or so they believed.

Her father was all angry and killed the ones responsible for it and there was a lot of unrest in her clan for a very long time (she was about 5 or 6) this is when she first ran away from home and ran into Kohaku and they became friends while talking over things like butterflies and killing and everything else little kids talk about.

She was constantly meeting up with Kohaku, telling her about her brother and all that jazz.

One day she ran back and found her father trying to kill her brother but her uncle was trying desperately to stop it.

She loved her brother more than her father and when her uncle was thrown from the room unconscious and bleeding, Osore took it on herself to kill her father to protect her brother. She succeeded mainly through her fathers disbelief that his own daughter could kill him.

That was when she was thirteen. Her uncle was kind and became the next leader until Osore was old and strong enough to control the entire clan.

Her uncle is a great man, funny kind and caring, but also a complete klutz. And very protective of Osore and her brother.

Taomus looks like Osore, except a guy and more pale. He is often in the garden, trying to gain strength and learning to fight, but he is essentially just a human.

Now for our next lady of the hour. Here is a little history on Kohaku, the future leader of the Water clan and her clan.

Kohaku's clan is very female dominated. That is typical of this clan because their feline transformation is that of a Lion. And in the Lion's Pride, the female Lion is the most powerful and dominant in all of the pride and does most of the hunting. But don't count the guys of the clan out just yet, they are just as powerful as the ladies. Each gender works side by side in battle. It is just an age old tradition that the ladies were first in the clan rather the men.
The ladies of the clan transform into a White Lion (KIMBA!!!) with Sapphire color eyes. The males do the same. They have thick white manes and Sapphire eyes.

Kohaku' s past was relatively normal. She was trained by her father and her other female family members. Her mother, like Osore's mother was a secret Black Magic practicer. But before the clan could put her to death, she died unexpectedly in child birth. The clan mourned over the loss of their leader sure, but were happy still that she was dead. She had betrayed their ways and deserved to die. Kohaku knew this but still couldn't help feeling that her mothers death was her fault. She carries that burden on her shoulders all the time and has never forgiven herself for her mothers death.

After the death of her mother, Kohaku' s father took over leadership of the clan until it was Kohaku' s turn to take the role of clan leader. Kohaku was given a special crate that had all her mothers belongings in it by her father, he said that he had no use for it. She came across her diary that she kept through out her pregnancy. In the back, were magic spells and enchantments of evil origin. Out of shear curiosity and honor for her mother, she tried a few of the spells to see what would happen and to see if maybe she could find her mother on the other side. From then on in secrecy, she practiced the Black Arts. She felt that it was a way that she could stay close to her mother beyond the grave.

On the outside Kohaku is a loving person and knows almost everyone in the forest. She is loved by all and hated by some. On the inside, Kohaku is very reserved and well, shy. She tries her best to bite the bullet and hide it but sometimes it can get the better of her. She is especially shy around guys that she likes. But she hardly ever seems to be like that since no guys really seem to spark her interest within her clan.

Kohaku met her best friend Osore when they were little, about the age of 5 or 6. She is the only one that she told about the Black Magic because she knew that Osore practiced it too. She also knew that Osore had a similar past as she did and that she had lost her mother when she was very young. They talked about trying to create a feline soul for her brother and make him one of them. They practiced long and hard every chance they got. Osore would come and meet Kohaku and they would train until dark.

After the death of the leader of the Fire clan, namely Osore's father, she and her twin brother Taomus came to live with Kohaku and her father. Their uncle, the new leader of the Fire clan thought it be best under the circumstances. The Water and Fire clans are very close allies. In ancient times, they fought alongside each other in a great battle against the archangels of hell. While Earth was allied with Wind.

Kohaku and Osore are tight, almost like sisters. They treat each other like family and even sometimes fight like family. They mostly help each other and train as hard as they can. They love to go around the villages and help out with things. They also love to take strolls in the forest, mainly just to go to their secret spot and practice their Black Magic skills.

Like Osore, Kohaku is cursed with birth defects. But for some odd reason, the members of Kohaku' s clan respect her for it. Kohaku has marks on her body that look like scratches from some kind of beast. Everyone in her clan says that they are the 'marks of the devil'. Kohaku's mother also passed on her strength to her and her ability to do Black magic. Magic comes from within the soul, and in a way Kohaku possesses her mothers soul within her own.

"Hey Osore, hand me that bar of soap would ya?" Kohaku asked as she held her tiger Nemo down so he wouldn't jump out of the water. Both Kohaku and Osore have tiger companions that help them in battle. Kohaku has a White Tiger cub named Nemo and Osore has a fully grown White Tiger, named Memo. Both Nemo and Memo are brothers so that is why they have similar names. Memo helps to train Nemo and get him ready for battle with Kohaku.

Osore tossed Kohaku the soap as she began washing behind Memo's ears.

"Gotta get behind those ears Kohaku." Osore teased.

"I know I know." Kohaku scrubbed Nemo's belly and legs all the way down to his paws. In a brief moment of distraction, Nemo took advantage of the opportunity and pulled Kohaku into the tub with him. Memo did the same to Osore. The girls were not amused. Kohaku sprang her head up out of the water while spitting some out of her mouth. She was covered in soap suds.

"Why in the world did you do that for?" She demanded as she tried to clear the suds from her face.

"We just wanted to make bath time a little bit more fun." Nemo growled while splashing water on Kohaku with his tail. Kohaku turned and looked for Osore. She knew that Osore got very weak if she was in water too long. Finally, Osore popped out of the water shivering and her teeth chattering.

    "Th-this. . ." She couldn't even finish her sentence.

"Alright you two are done. Let's get Osore inside and in some dry clothes before she shrivels up." Nemo and Memo jumped out of the tub and shook themselves dry. After Kohaku got all the bath time mess up and rinsed herself of all the suds, she, Nemo and Memo took Osore into the house to warm up and get changed.
