• Her name is Serenity. She always knew she was different from the other vampires. She just didn’t know why, until one fateful day, when she turned sixteen. That day she went up to her dark attic to find a necklace with the words of some ancient language. She picks up the object and brought it to her parents. “What is this and what’s it for?” she asked. They just didn’t say anything. When they didn’t tell her the information she wanted to hear, she stormed out of the house and went to the ancient park of the library that is not opened to mortal eyes. When she arrived at the library she went to the section of ancient language. She was going through the aisle of books when a book just jumped out of the shelf at her. She ducked and the book hit the table that was right behind her. Turning around she notice that the book opened up to a page in the book. Curiously she walked up to the book and looked around to see if anyone saw what happened, but no one was around. As she looks at this book that was covered in dust because it hadn’t been used in a century or so, she notice that the same letters that were on the necklace were on the book. The necklace had the inscription of this

Huh does it mean me where did this come from, she thought. “Hey if it isn’t miss doom and gloom.” Said Zach. Oh hey Zach. What are you doing here Zach? “Oh I’m going to check up on this map,” he said. “So what are you doing here when you could be outside it is a beautiful night?” He said. Oh I just wanted to find out what this necklace says, it is very interesting. Just then a pack of wild harpies came through the front door and the two friends find themselves surrounded. “And what do you suppose you are doing her ugly winged beasts.” Asked Zach. “Who said we wanted to talk to you dumb phantom,” they hissed out in anger. “We came for the girl.” What makes you think I will go with you? As she said that they started to attack, clawing and trying to bit the two friends. She pulled out her dagger and cut the largest harpy in the face. She squalled in pain. Zach meanwhile was attacking them with a shadow attack taking their energy and draining them all the way until they were nothing but skeletons. When finally both friends were covered in dark harpy blood did they stop fighting. “That was the strangest thing I’ve seen in forever.” Said Zach. Why do say that? “Usually the harpy’s don’t come into vampire territory. Why do you suppose they were after you anyways?” He said. How should I know I haven’t done anything to them to deserve that attack. I know where I’m going next; I’m going to go talk to the queen of the harpies. Count me in live is boring for me anyways. Off they went to the beginning of their journey together, taking only what they need to survive. They went along to the mysterious wilderness to find the queen and the reason that they were attack. As they walked they notice that they were being followed. So Zach disappeared to look for the stalker and found him in the trees. He reappeared to point out where the stalker was. So Serenity took out her bow and arrow, taking care not to kill the stalker and shot one arrow to knock him down. As he fell they tied him up and began to question him. He was a leech that was trembling because of his predicament. “Why were you stalking us?” Zach asked in anger. Answer him leech or I will shoot your legs so you can’t walk after we are done with you, causing you to be devoured by the vargs of night. All right I was sent to spy on you by…. After trying to say whom he went up in flames. His screams were heard for miles around. What is going on around here Zach, I’m getting very nervous. They both look around for the culprit that caused the leech to die a painfully quick death. Finding no one around they were very weary and cautious to their next move. We better find you a cave soon it is starting to turn to dawn, said Zach. They walked with hast to find the cave to shelter her from the suns burning wrath. As the finally found a cave hidden behind an eerie waterfall the sun came up. Zach push her in so she wouldn’t be touch by the sun’s rays. “Stay here I will come back for you at sunset but you need to try and rest.” He told her. Okay I shall as she said that she turned into a bat and went to the top of the cave to sleep. She soon woke up to a troubling noise underneath of her. Are you sure that vampire girl go in here Crasper. By the sound of their voice she could tell there were only two of them. Both were male and some kind of windago a type of creature that only lives in these woods. They are big and brawny and usually hunt in a pack, and aren’t capable to send out scouts. Well keep searching we don’t want him to get angry with us like he got mad at the leech. What about the bats Marber? What about them Crasper? They are just bats nothing special about them. What a minute didn’t he tell us that the girl could change into a bat? Indeed he did. By now her heart was thumping because she knew she couldn’t take the two monstrous creatures by herself. Both started to grab each bat one at a time and were keeping their eyes on the others. The bats started to bit them and screech and swarm. She took her chance she flew out of the cave and dove into the water to transform into her normal shape. As she did this both of the windagos were chasing some of the bats She could no longer hold her breath she had to go and get a breath. She swam up and gasps for air both windagos turned around and charged at her. She tried to swim away but the first one had her in his grip. Let me go, now. As she screamed, she could see that Zach put a deep fog surrounding them. What is this? A loud voice echo through the silence of the night saying, “RELEASE THE GIRL AND YOUR LIFES WILL BE SPARED IF NOT YOU SHALL PARISH!” Who says this and why do you challenge us fool? SO YOU CHOOSE NOT TO RELEASE HER? No we will not be killed by the one who sent us. THEN YOU SHALL DIE. With that a swarm of molten fire swarmed the one holding her. He dropped her with a yelp and then turned to dust. The other ran in fear, as everything around her started to spin and go dark.
