• Myra glared coldly at the human filth before her. Who did they think they were trying to hunt down a proud Vampyre like her? She wasn't the strongest, but she was far from the weakest. She was a direct fledgling from the strongest female Vampyre, Lady Katerina. She scoffed lightly and leaped down from her high perch on the rafters of the barn, landing soundlessly on the hay. Silent as a shadow she struck cobra swift at the man before her. He fell softly, hardly a sound escaping from his now dead lips. The other 'hunters' looked around warily, having sensed her evil presence but unable to detect where she was creeping around killing them off. Schiick. Another one down. She licked the blood from her hand reveling in the salty copper tanged high. The blood of hunters was truly invigorating. She nearly succumbed to feeding, but she had a job at hand, plenty time for indulging later. She smiled at the thought of the feeding to come. Silently chuckling to herself, she glided through the musty barn circling the hunters who still had not noticed their dead companions. Such stupid blind creatures, she though as she sliced into another of the unsuspecting hunters, Oh really now, half your number gone and you're still looking about as if nothing happened, trying so vainly to see in the dark. Too afraid to call out...hahaha...
One of the said hunters tripped, the tension of the hunt combined with the stifling darkness created a mind numbing fear that had finally overcome his control. He cried out as he fell. The other men whipped around in confusion, the stink of their fear permeated the barn soaking the air, all 'cept one that is. He moved pretty well in the dark and remained calm as the other two men panicked waving around their flimsy pieces of metal as if that would protect them. It was all very comical indeed, but she bore easily of their stupidity. She was about to swoop in for the double kill when the calm one's voice cut through the air freezing the two fools.
"Calm down you fools!" he hissed at them. "She's only playing games with you!"
"Light! We need light!" The fools were panicked and yelled their voices shaking with fear. "We can't see in the dark like you, Ser Veras!"
"Quiet! I already told you why we musn't have a light!" he was irritated at the two men and by his voice and countenance he might kill them before she did. Oooh...a shiny little knight, I see.Myra smiled and retreated back into the rafters.
    "Wh-where's Lir? Bohn? Vel?"
Ser Veras sighed, "Dead. Now shut up, you're ruining my concentration, I've nearly got her pinned."
    "D-d-dead?!!!"
"I said...SHUT UP!" Veras whipped around and slit the man's throat. "If you don't stay quiet, I'll do the same to you and kill the b***h myself, you hear?"
This he directed to the last guy.
Well, that was friendly. It was obvious by now that these men had no affiliations toward each other. She smiled again, but she was wary. This...knight knew the other men were dead and had done nothing about it. But the part that bothered her the most was that he had said he sensed her. She shivered. It seems a true Hunter has descended.
