• "The pain might not kill me, but living with it will!" Maria cried, holding her stomach, thinking that it would keep it from hurtin as much.
    "Maria! You know that I just hate it when you say things like that!!" Her mother cried, getting annoyed that Maria would even joke about such a serious diseaseas Cancer.
    Suddenly, Maria collapsed onto the floor, all the life draining out of her. She couldn't move. She could hardly breathe. She was losing her sight slowly...


    "Maria... Maria, we have some bad news.." The doctor said, as Maria slowly regained conciousness.
    "Maria, you're going to die in a week." The doctor said, signing a form and walking out. Maria's mother didn't come with her anymore, she was old enough to stay by herself now.
    "Maria." Her mother whispered as she walked in.
    "Maria, I'm sorry, but I can't stay around you anymore... And your going to ... die... soon anyways. I loved you up until now, so here's some flowers.... I'm sorry... Goodbye.."
