• Feel nothing.....To die inside.....To be cold to every one, that is what I've learned about the way of the ninja. I was trained in the village hidden in the mist, the academy drew the line for those who made the cut to be a ninja at the start; in the end it never mattered about what kind of team you had or who was in it, in the end it all came down to who could kill without fail and without mercy. To graduate they put us all in a room then gave the order to kill or be killed, that was when all things turned to chaos, many stood still as if they were already dead; those where the ones who took the teams seriously and took bonds to heart. They were the first to fall, the others had killed them quickly; some turned insane after their first kill and droped to their knees as the they shook; I waited in the shadows as I let my golden eyes scan the room for those who fell and then those who droped. When I killed my first one I stared into their eyes and watched as the light left them, "You'll die here.... Then you'll vanish." I said, I said that to every one of them who fell and laid in my shadow as I watched them, from the moment they hit the ground to their last pitiful gasp of air.

That was when I was seven, within nine years I had moved up from Genin to Anbu among the hidden mist ninja; they called me Yami Mizu Ookami since I had no name, normally they called me Yami unles they wanted my entire focus; then they called my full name and gained my focus and attention. I was a living weapon in the form of a human, my silver hair was kept cut just below my neck and fringed in the back, my golden eyes never faltered or showed emotion when I killed, to the Mizukage I was a weapon of great value and also an agent of great threat should I turn my back on the village. I had an unusual blood line trait, my eyes could track movement and copy jutsu like the Sharingan but it could also read minds and see Chakra levels; the village had named it the Wolf's Eye due to the appearence of it, I was faintly humored since it gained the look of a golden Sharingan but that my eyes would barely change during use since they were already gold. Many feared those eyes because they said it was like looking into the eyes of a demon, but that was equally said about the Sharingan, others wanted nothing to do with it and shuned me; I didn't care. To me it was my tool in this life, and I would use it to do what I was trained to do; to kill without mercy or remorse, it was training that would serve me well in the future.

"Did you hear? The Akastuki has been spoted near the village?" I listened with half interest, the news of the Akatsuki has started three days after my last assignment; it seemed like a petty topic untill people started to show much fear to the topic; it didn't take long for it to reach my pointed ears. I scoffed at the topic and walked through the village, this was begining to bother me because not many things ever happened in the mist village, "If they were so strong, why come here?" I mummbled under my breath, these people seemed more scared of something that would never happen then the quite possible curruption in the village itself. It seemed amusing to utter the word Akatsuki then laugh about it as people cowered in fear of the name, some thought I was crazy not to fear the Akatsuki, others knew that I feared very little and it seemed that it was normal for me to laugh in the face of fear; the others in my Anbu section understood who I was from my files. "Oi! Yami!" Someone yelled, I turned around to see a man with long red hair and blue eyes running my way; I tilted my head to one side and faced the man before nodding.

I knew the man as Leader, his name was Kon Ichimaru, he was the leader of my section and the one who seemed to understand me the most. Kon was the one man who seemed to stand by me when I went into phases and lost myself for a few minuets then came back to reality; he was the one man who earned my respect and loyalty because he didn't fear me for who I was or what I was. "I heard you latest mission was a success." Kon said, he grined when I nodded and patted my head, I faintly growled then sighed; he enjoyed that reaction because it suited my name to the kunia tip then made it seem as if I was more wolf than human, "My mission went well." I said then shook my head, taking a snap at his hand in my usual manner; to him I was like a friend who walked a wilder side of life and embraced a more animalistic side of myself, "Come now my Ookami." Kon said as he drew his hand back then chuckled, I barred my teeth to show that I was unamused my the title 'his Ookami' then again he always did call me that, ever since I joined his section he called me his wolf; I barely knew him yet he picked up on my personailty and found a way to work with it. Since then we had been friends even though we had never spoken to one another, once and awhile we would talk but it wouldn't last long before someone would made a comment and end up with a kunia against his throat.

"Did you hear about the rumors of the Akatsuki?" Kon asked, I closed my eyes then chuckled; my fang-like canines exposed from behind my lips as they glistened in the sunlight, I usually never chuckled unless I found something truely amusing, "They're rumors, nothing more. Give me a sighting and maybe I'll think something of it." I laughed. Kon looked at me as if I had lost my mind and shook his head before giving a faint chuckle; my humor was one of aquired taste that few understood, "Yami...This is no joke, if their looking for new members you cou-" I stoped him with a hand against his mouth, digging my nails into his cheek, "Do you think of me as a traitor?" I asked, my Wolf's Eye was active making Kon close his eyes then shake his head; I let go of his mouth then growled darkly before turning around then vanishing into the mist and seeking shelter in the forest near the village. My Wolf's Eye suddenly spoted movement in the trees and my body soon followed until I saw two men wearing black cloaks with red clouds on it.....The first thing that hit my mind, was the Akatsuki.
