    a sibling.” Rayne said as she walked over to Raziel. “Hey buddy look I know I got off on the wrong foot but lets make things right” Raziel looked at her and just smile. “Rayne is all right I mean I never had a sister before either so um this might turn out for the better!!” Razeil said and turned around to continue walking. “Thank you Razeil thank you for understanding!” Rayne said as she and Kevin continued to there way home after a long night of fighting. “Besides I can finally hang out with some one during the day besides Tora now.” Rayne said. “Hey!!!!” Kevin said in protest. Raziel and Rayne laughed and finally arrived at the door of there mansion. Inside Tora was by the fire reading a book and snapped it shut and looked at the trio. “What is he doing here he is Blade’s son Kevin Rayne how or why are you betraying us?!!” Tora finished as she slammed the book down on the black marble table. Shadow came into the room due to all the commotion, “Hey what is all this noise about………oh my god what is he doing here!!” “Okay let me just say a few things,” Rayne said as she stepped forward, “ Raziel protected Kevin and I with his own life and I bit him to revive him back to life making him more like a hybrid now because before he was half human. My blood runs in his veins so now he is my brother.” Rayne finished and Kevin put her arm around her. Tora went up to Raziel and stared at him coldly. “ Hey welcome to the clan!!!” Tora said a gave him a hug and five hard slaps on the back. Kevin laughed and sat down on the black cashmere sofa Rayne joined him and took a long sigh. “Yeah you can do that again it has been a long night for all of us.” Shadow said. Razeil sat on the loveseat and gazed at the fire and his mind started to wander off then his father’s last words came to his mind once again. “What are you doing to my son get your maw away form him, What the hell are you doing to him!!”

    Then Raziel’s own words came back to him, “ How dare you call me your son you neglected me tortured me!!” The voice in his head faded away into an echo and Rayne’s voice replaced the void. “Hey Razeil I want to show you your room.” She said with a smile. “ Alright I am getting a bit tired.” He replied. “K follow me.” Kevin Rayne Shadow and Tora all went up stairs to get some sleep before the sunrise. “This will be your room Kevin and I will be next door too you and Shadow and Tora are over there. “ Rayne said as she pointed down a dark hallway.

    ‘Ok thanks so much Rayne you have helped me change my life and for that I owe you big time!” Rayne smiled at him, “Just be a brother and help out with the clan in your own way!” Rayne smiled and gave him a sisterly kiss and closed the door behind her. Raziel went to his window and watched the sun rise. “I was given a second chance.” And with that Raziel went under his covers and fell asleep. Rayne entered the room to find it pitch black. “Duh the sun is up and the sunshields are down I just hope I don’t stub my toe trying to find the dame bed.” She said as she made her way safely to the bed. She snuggled close to Kevin and fell asleep with her arm around his abdomen. And drifted off to sleep. The next morning Razeil woke up to find claw marks all over his room. In shock he looked at his hands and all around his nails were splinters of wood and dried blood on his nails. Horrified he want to the bathroom to wash it off and pulled out the splinter under his fingernails and fingertips. A knock was heard at the door and, “Hey Raziel it is me Rayne can I come in I have brought you a meaty breakfast.” Rayne said. “Um yeah come on in.” He said as he locked the door leading to the bathroom. She came in and set the tray on the small table setup by the window and sat herself down on the bed. “Um Razeil what is up with the claw marks on the wall?” Rayne asked as she went to the wall. “I mean they are pretty deep!” “Rayne it was me I think, I mean I slept soundly last night and then I woke up to find claw marks everywhere not only that I had splinters and dried blood all over my hands.” She laughed at him and simply said, “Hey it is okay it happened to me too you’re just getting use to your new half the wolf part of you.” Razeil gave her a grateful smile and gazed at his meaty breakfast. ‘Um you brought me more than I can chew would you like to join me?” Rayne nodded and together as brother and sister they ate the breakfast. The day went by fast as she gave him a tour of the mansion and were he was permitted and were he wasn’t , “Oh and that room belongs to Kevin and I nobody else!!” She said with a wink. “Ah the vampire’s liar I suppose.” Raziel gave with a laugh. “How did you know it was called that?” Rayne asked. “Blade had many whores come down here willingly to give what they offered and he took more than just that he stole there life by taking there blood.?” He said as they continued on with the tour. They came in to a black marble and tile and wooden kitchen and the smell of bacon eggs and sausages filled the room. “Hey Rayne do you know why Kevin’s Mansion is so darkly colored?” He asked her. “Well this mansion really belonged to my uncle but when he passed away he gave it to Kevin since he was the only male here and that he was and is my mate. Kevin made the house sun proof and colored everything black and red or any of the dark colors.” She said as they entered a large room. “In this room Tora does her studies.” Rayne said as she sat down on the sofa near the burnt out fire place. “So do you have any questions other than why the whole house is a dark color?” Razeil cocked his head and thought for a moment, “How about we go for a swim I mean I haven’t been outside for 20 years.” He said as he counted his fingers. “Thought you would never ask I mean lets go my skin is so pale its not even funny, to think of it I think I spend to much time at night with Kevin then I do getting a tan or spending some time in the sun.” Rayne said as she took him by the hand a led him too the backyard. Outside was beautiful flowers blooming of all colors the lycanthropes blooming to season and the trees a nice hunter green to there leaves. The near by river looked nice and cool and was clear like a crystal. “Last one in is a puppy!” Rayne shouted as she ran towards the river and bent down to take her shoes off. “Timber!!!” Razeil shouted as he pushed Rayne into the water, but before she fell in she got a hold of his arm and pulled hard to bring herself up and pulled him in. “Hey now that was a nice move!” He said. Rayne thanked him and got into the water. “Hey Rayne were does this river flow towards to?” He asked as he began to float away. “To our orchard field then through a forest would you like to float along and see? She turned around to see him a little ways down the river. “Hey now come on that’s not fair at all!” She replied as she swam ahead to catch up whit him. Once the reached the orchard they found cherry peach and orange trees. ‘Oh wow I kind of forgot what kind of trees we have here.” Rayne said as she went over to the trees. Raziel and Rayne picked fruit till there arms were full and walked back over to the river and ate it. “Mm that was some good fruit.” Rayne said as she wiped her mouth with her arm. “Yeah it was good but don’t you think we should be heading back now?” He said as he gazed up at the setting sky. “Yeah oh my god were has the day gone we have to get home before the others wake.” Rayne laughed. Together they walked along the river bank and Raziel noticed she was carrying a small basket of cherries and peaches. “Alright sis what is the basket of fruit for?” “ I make things out of the fruit like oils and soaps plus I like to save some for my self for a snack.” She said. “What kind of things do you make?” He asked as he went ahead and pursued for an answer. “Well I make sensual oils that I like to use for the bedroom with Kevin.” She said as she gave him a wicked smile. Razeil chuckled to himself and together they walked home. Kevin arose early that night and went to his walk in closet and got dressed, “Man am I getting tired of black but Rayne says it is “so my color” and she likes the way I look in it.” He chuckled to himself. He threw on a pair of baggy jeans outlined in red with chains hanging in every which way and put on a netted tee. He went down stairs too see Tora making out with shadow by the fire for whatever started that he did not want to know. Kevin went outside and walked towards the river to find Rayne and Razeil on there way back from there trip. Rayne came up to him and showed him her berries. Kevin gave her a sly smile and a tight squeeze. Rayne gave her brother a tight squeeze and gave him a farewell before she left with Kevin. Once inside Raziel returned to his room for a good nights rest or what he could get before Shadow and Tora could enter

    His room. “Razeil! Raziel! Wake up, come on we want you to test our potions!” Tora said as she popped the lock to her door and entered. “Never! “ Razeil said as he let go of the ceiling and pounced on top of her and fled for his life. “Shadow get him!” Tora yelled into the hallway. Meanwhile Blade made his way into the woods were his son and Kevin and Rayne had fled last night. “Master what do you plan to do? We can not harm them physically?” One of the demons mentioned. Blade stopped and said, “I am well aware of that if we can not harm them physically then we will harm them emotionally!” Blade laughed at the thought and continued into the forest. The animals in the forest sensed his presence and grew to a deathly still like silence. Rayne pulled Kevin toward the same forest and he drew to a halt. “Kevin what is wrong with you we always go into this forest?” She asked him. “Nothing just my imagination!” He said as he continued to walk. The moon hid behind huge un earthly dark clouds and its light disappeared into darkness. Razeil came to halt and Shadow ran into him knocking him down to the ground. “Hey what’s wrong why did you stop running?” Raziel ran to the nearest window ignoring her and his jaw dropped in shock. “It, It can’t be.” He murmured. “Hey now what are you not telling us!” Tora said. “My father he is alive some how but I don’t understand I thought we got rid of him for good!” Raziel began to shake and fell to his knees. “Oh my god Rayne, and Kevin are out there! Shadow said. “Shadow stay here with me and Raziel if we go out there we will be killed remember he recited the last lost verse and now he has domain over all of hell, So his demons will get the best of us.” Tora said. “Rayne! Kevin!” Shadow said as she cried into Tora’s shoulder. “Sis be careful.” Was all that Razeil said to himself. Kevin and Rayne were deep into the forest and Rayne froze for a quick second then stopped all together. “Rayne what is wrong with you?” Kevin asked. “Kevin it’s really quite in this forest.” Rayne said as she drew close to him. “Ah, Kevin ,Rayne ,nice to meet you again! “ Blade said as he protruded out from the shadows. “Blade didn’t we kill you?” Rayne said as she grew her talons. “Yeah that’s what you thought! But I am the King of the underworld I can’t die.” Blade said. Kevin withdrew his sword and held the point in Blade’s direction. “Rayne run, go home!” Kevin said. “I am not leaving you here to die!” Rayne said. “Rayne I will be alright just run!” Kevin yelled. Rayne gave Kevin a fearful gaze and ran but was stopped short by Blade’s demons. “Come on now Rayne, Don’t leave the show so early now!” Kevin hissed at him in anger, “What show Blade what are you planning?” He yelled at him. “ Why this!” Blade said and simply snapped his fingers and his demons surrounded Rayne and started to harm her. She transformed into her wolf form and brought down the demons one by one. “Blade leave her be!” Kevin said as he charged at him. “Oh and Kevin this is for you!” Blade said as he threw a puff of green powder at his face. Kevin fell to the ground and his sword fell by his side cutting open his side. “Rayne!” Kevin whispered before he fainted into oblivion. “Ah perfect his blood and his body is mine to control now!” Blade said as he dipped the tip of his finger into the wound and tasted Kevin’s blood. Rayne saw Kevin lie there on the floor motionless and her anger grew and a fire began to burn in her eyes. “Kevin!” She roared. Rayne’s wolf body grew twice in size and she became transformed in her second form, her other half Arya took over her and her rage fueled her to attack head on at Blade. Blade quickly picked up Kevin’s sword and it disinigrated in his hands before his eyes. Rayne’s new form knocked Blade to the ground and got up and circled him twice before attacking him again. She clamped her massive razor sharp teeth around his collar bone spewing black blood on to the forest floor. Blade hissed in pain and morphed his hand into metal titanium claws and pierced his hand into her rib cage. Arya cringed in agony but ignored the pain and slashed her claws across his chest. Blade quickly retreated away from her and called upon his demons and two of them picked up Kevin. Arya’s half disappeared and Rayne was left in her human form on the ground to die . Rayne gazed up at the sky to see the full moon gazing down back at her and a prayer escaped her dying lips, “Lunar Goddess hear my plea, Send some one to find me…” She whispered and passed out. Back the manor Raziel fell to his knees in pain and blood fell from his ribs and he reached up to apply pressure. “Raziel what the hell happened to you?” Tora asked as she bent down to help him stand. “It is simple Tora since Rayne and I are blood siblings we can feel each others pain, emotions and such.” “So let me get this out right if your wounded that means Rayne is wounded too, O h my god my sister is in trouble!” Shadow said as she flared her wings open and frantically ran to the window and tried to open it. Tora went to go and stop her but she was too late. Shadow flew over the forest and picked up the scent of fresh blood. She landed near the battle scene and in the distance she saw her sister lying in a twisted position and ran to her aid. “Oh Rayne are you alright , Sis please answer me!” She almost screamed. All Rayne did was bring her hand up ever so slowly and clutch the necklace that Kevin gave before they faced Blade the first time. “Shadow, He killed him, He killed Kevin!” Rayne manage to say before she passed out again. “Sis wake up please wake up!” Shadow panicked and took her into her arms and flew rather quickly home. “Oh my god Rayne you’re a mess.” Razeil and Tora said together as they hooked her up to medical insulations and such. “Tora, Raziel can you leave me to my sister.” Shadow said as she tried to hold back her tears. “Sure thing.” Tora said as she dragged Raziel out with her. “Oh Rayne why did this happen to you?” Rayne looked up at her sisters tear stained face and said, “Sis he has Kevin he took Kevin’s corpse.” Rayne said as her body shook uncontrollably with her sobbing. “Sis it’s alright will get your mate back I promise!” Shadow said as she held her sister close to her chest. Mean wile at Blade’s resurrected manor the demons laid Kevin’s body onto a lab metallic table and turned on a surgical light. “Master what do you have in mind for the vampire’s body he will regain vitality soon so we must act quickly.” Blade stared for a moment and smiled, “Bring me Kratos for the underworld, I will then fuse his soul with that of Kevin’s but I will have complete control over the vampire.” The demons looked at one another with an expression of doubt and fear. “Bring me Kratos!” Blade yelled at them. One by one the dissipated into thin air, a moment later agonized screaming came from down the hall with the sound of heavy chains scraping the cold stone floors. In came Kratos, a massive powerful demon witch was the main general of hells army. Scars stretched over his arms and the chains struggled to keep him bound. “Execute him and harness his soul.” Blade commanded from his lofty chair that he called a throne. The demons did as they were told and decapitated Kratos’s head. Another demon by the name of Sebastian took a scalpel and made an incision on top of his chest and with a demonic chat he plunged his scalpel into his heart and slowly removed it taking a ghostly essence by the tip of the blade. Sebastian took the essence and made the same incision on Kevin’s chest and placed the spirit in Kevin’s dead heart it began to change from a dead flesh color to black as the spirit took possession of Kevin’s soul as well. “Milord the task at hand has been a success!” The demon squealed from the center of the room. Sebastian placed a black symbolic seal on Kevin’s chest that only he knew how to remove to prevent the soul from releasing itself. The wound on Kevin’s side from earlier instantly healed it self with out leaving a scar and he woke up try to break free from his bondages. When he couldn’t move he let out an ear piercing screech on the top of his lungs that had Blade and the demons cringing in agony. “Let him go Sebastian but don’t let him escape put the castle on lockdown, Windows doors and everything.” Blade yelled. “Yes milord.” Sebastian replied and flicked on a red switch. Kevin finally broke free and he flared out his wings. They weren’t his ordinary wings, these wings he had were made of some kind of dragon skin. He flexed his arms and popped his knuckles; the color of his skin had a blue tint making him looking more like Kratos then himself. His hair had blue tints rather than his own red and black. Kevin felt his abdomen and he noticed that he had twice as many muscles than before. “What have you done to me Blade?” Kevin yelled out loud in frustration. “Simple Kevin I made you obedient, See watch Kevin kill the demon Figaro to your left.” With out control Kevin held his hand in the air and summoned his sword and it appeared like a vapor in his hand. With in a split second the sword was through the demon and in a screaming high pitch of agony the demon dissolved into the sword. “How in the blue hell did you make me do that? What on earth have you done to me?” Kevin demanded. “I have fused your soul and blood with that of my most loyal and deadly assassins in all of hell, so as it may be we will go for a hunt tomorrow Kevin you and I and my demons. We will kill Rayne your beloved!” Blade said as a wicked smile spread across his face. “No I won’t do it I can’t.” Kevin said in protest. “Blade laughed and said, “You will and you shall!” “Yes milord.” Kevin said as tears of blood streamed down his face. Kevin shocked by his own words fled Blade and flew away to one of the many dark hordes in the ceiling of the castle to cry himself to sleep. That day he slept almost impossibly because he kept having nightmares of killing Rayne. He would see her and all her blood on him and in his hands. He woke up screaming her name and again the tears of blood fell from his eyes. ‘

    Back at home were everyone lay peacefully asleep Rayne stood up the whole morning with out food or anything to drink. Raziel noticed and came to her room to try to comfort her. “Hey sis can I come in?” He simply asked. “Sure.” Was all she said. He entered the room and saw her seated by the window, “R..Razeil why did your father have to do that why did he have to kill Kevin and take him away?” She asked as fresh tears began to fall upon her face. Raziel placed a hand on her shoulder and said, “I don’t know what he is up too now my sister but we have to be careful I mean look at him I killed him and he still alive somehow. There is got to be away to kill him though because even the author of that book must have been killed, I mean think about it.” Rayne shook her head in confusion and walked up to her massive window and saw that the sun was gone for the day. “Will you come with me for a walk Raziel?” She asked. “Sure sister anything for you.” Razeil said as he followed her out of the room. Back at Blade’s the demons Fey, Sebastian and Lynes were assembling there battle gear as well as Blade himself. “Kevin come down here and suit up!” Blade yelled. “NEVER!” Kevin shouted at him. “Come on now Kevin don’t make me laugh you know very well now that I have complete and total control over you.” Blade said as he sheathed his sword. “Now come here now.” He commanded and the next second Kevin was down here and stood next to Blade. “That’s a good vampire now suit up were about to go for a hunt.” He said. Kevin didn’t move or budge but the next second he was in and out of the room covered in battle armor. Kevin sheathed his sword and strapped it onto his back. “Good now you are to stand by me and complete any tasks that I have to give you.” Blade said with a wicked smile across his face. “Yes milord.” Kevin struggled to say and to his place by his side. As they left the castle the marched toward the manor. “Rayne so um how long have you been with this vampire?” Raziel asked. “Oh about all or most of my life, You see Kevin lived with Shadow and I when my uncle Marcus was alive simply because a vampire overlord killed our families. Then when we got older my sister met up with Tora and I ended going out with Kevin.” Rayne said as she picked off a black rose from the garden. Raziel was sorry for his sister just for appearing into her life and for his father to take away her mate. “Hey Rayne im sorry I mean if it wasn’t for me or my father Kevin would never have gone the way he did.” “Razeil what ever do you mean it is not your fault at all if anyone is to blame it would be Shadow, Because I mean she was the one that had relations with Blade when we were younger and when she left him he came back with a vengeance to take her back or kill us all.” Rayne said as she sat down by the huge water fountain Raziel joined her and together they talked about Blade and there pasts.
