The world was quiet and asleep, and Goldfire readied for her mission. She slowly crept down the long hall, and finally unlocked and opened the door.
'There's only one way to get in un-noticed and un-detected.' She whispered to the night, as an owl rested on her shoulder. The white creature cocked it's head at her when she talked to it. Some of the animals didn't like what she had become, coming down to earth. But this owl understood. She told it goodbye and cloaked herself with her magic, making her un-detected and invisible. She slowly opened the door and the alarm didn't go off, and the dog didn't notice her. She grabbed all of the spy tools in the little house and went to the door, but, as she closed it the dog awoke and started to bark. She ran to her house and lept into her room, locking the door. Sheding her cloak, she put all of the gear into a safe no one knew about, and crawled to her bed.
The next day a letter slid into her room again.
'Goldfire,
good job on yesterday.Meet me in the garden.Kalvin'
She went into the garden to the little pond, and dipped her foot into it, watching the fish go around her toes. She looked at her reflection.
"How come it came to this when i came to earth? What am I? A criminal, wanted for what i am."
"You do know that if you talk to yourself people will think your weird."
She spun to see Kalvin standing behind her.Why she didn't sense him, she didn't know.
"Yes I do know that...but right now i don't care about that."
"I know it must be hard to be you, wanted for being a criminal, but don't worry about it. People will see that it's just stupid soon."
"Yes, I hope they do."
"Good job last night Goldfire, they don't know who did that."
"Thank-you, sir." She was blushing, she could feel it. He barely did compliment or comment on her work, so it was hard not to.
"No problem." He picked up her face with his hand, and brought her to her feet. They stared into each other's eyes for a moment, her eyes sparkling red into gold, his green into sky blue. He then placed his mouth on hers and they just stood there for what seemed like a half hour before they pulled away. Then her face was all red and his was getting there.
