• I don't know why I went there. I go there time to time. I ran into the forest and ran behind the hut. I sat behind the wall, eyes wide, curled up and shivering like a madman. I froze. Someone, or something, was close by. The leaves were crunching beneath its feet. I awaited my death, as I thought it was one of those deformed freaks I encountered at the house. I sighed as it just my cat, Garfield. He curled up beside me and fell asleep. Typical of him. I got up as Garfield stirred. I never actually realised how much I liked Garfield and how much he liked me. But that wasn't the priority on my mind. I needed somewhere to sleep. I thought. Strangley enough I looked in my school homework planner. It had numbers in it for some strange reason. I flipped throgh the pages. Good. I typed the number into my mobile. Crap. Out of credit. Oh well. I'd have to resort to 0800 reverse. I rang up the people and sprinted to the house as they gave me directions. I went into the house. It was a care home where abandoned kids stayed. I sighed with relief. I had to lie to get in though. I told them my parents died in a car crash and that the hospital told me to com here. I managed to get a place. I was safe here. But I didn't know for how long.
