“Buzz Buzz, Crack, Smash” I’ve hated alarm clocks my whole life. That why I have to buy a new one every month, cause sometime or later I destroy it. Well today would not be a good day to destroy, cause why? It’s August 15th and what day is that? The first day of school but how was I supposed to know that at 5:30am in the morning? Well this is the story of my freshman year at a totally new school, since I’ve been transferred more times than i can remember since I end up getting expelled from every single one for… well you don’t want to know. So first day, alarm clock destroyed nothing can go wrong on the first day of school since its supposed to be perfect right? Actually no, many things can go wrong; and just because kami-sama hates me it did just for me on that first day of my freshman year at my new high school.

“Oh man, I feel so tired I wonder what time it is?” As I look over to my clock, my eyes barely able to keep themselves open I look over to my alarm clock. To my dismay I remember I destroyed it early so I get up out of bed and stretch to wake up my aching muscles. I don’t remember what I did to get so tired, but now I regret ever doing so. As I walk to the kitchen to see what time is on its clock I read and my eyes were wide open than ever before. I take a double take, well to be truthful more like a 20 take as I continued to stare at my clock in disbelief. 8:19am it read and just after having stared at it for a minute it now went to 8:20 am. Crap, I only have 10 minutes to get up! As I run back to my bedroom and tear through my drawers for clothes, I just decided to wear lose jeans a black shirt with a jet maroon/red dragon in the front. I quickly pull over a blue jacket with a white wolf howling to a red moon on the back, pull on my shoes, and grab my toothbrush, which is covered in toothpaste, put on my glasses and just leave my hair with all the bed hair mess, and run out the door with my sling backpack.

I run through the streets knowing I’m going to be late, but somewhere, in the back of my mind, I was hoping my clock decided to go ahead an hour. But today, time was not going to be on my side. I threw away my portable toothbrush away into a nearby trashcan and take a right into an alleyway, which is a shortcut, and jump over the wall and start running through people’s back yards. People start yelling at me and one lady got mad at me for running through her rosebushes, which hurt even though I wore pants. As I made it from one block away from my new school, I had already rinsed my mouth by taking a bit of water from my water bottle and spitting it out while I was running through the yards. Then I was there. I didn’t know what time it was, but as I stood outside in front of my school, I just stood there amazed and jaw dropped. There was a fountain in the middle of the front courtyard. There bird feeders everywhere, and little frolicking animals were darting before me, more like squirrels dancing in each others arms and little birds flickering back and forth like it was paradise. I see the white-marble building in front of my school and they’re no signs of graffiti as I was expecting to be there. As I make my way through the courtyard, I tiptoe and hope that this wasn’t a dream.

When I finally got to the door I, a teacher was on the other side. She spoke in a kind voice, “I need your form to insure that you go to this school, and I need to tell you, you just made it right on time.” My heart lifts at the sound of that last comment and I quickly take out my application form from my bag and give it to her. It had a little crinkle here and there, and she took it very gently from my hands. When she was middle of reading it, I saw her face slowly come from a smile to a frown. I wondered if I had done something wrong so I started to say, “Is so…” She then interrupted me saying, “I’m sorry, you have the wrong school, my dear. You are over in the other district of town.”

After that comment, I turned into stone. I could feel myself crumbling away; all my efforts were in vain. She suddenly realized what kind of state I was in, so she started to encourage me. “We can have one of our buses drive you back, it’s always hard to find a new school your going too.” She then shoved the paper back at me as fast as she could as if she didn’t even want to touch.

When she heard that no bus could take me she took me. She made me sit in the far back of her van, and when I tried to talk to her she would turn on the radio blasting loud. I don’t mind blasting music, but the kind of music she listens to is really sissy music. When I asked her, “Look is there something I did?” When she heard what I said over the music, she turned off the radio. “No you haven’t really done anything, well not today.

I look at her questioningly through the top mirror. “You see, you need to go to Konoha High…” she then paused. I then asked wanting more of an explanation “And…” She then pulled over and looked in me straight in the eye and opened the door. While doing so she finished what she was saying before, “Konoha High School is a school for delinquents. Its nicknamed Konoha Delinquent High. KDH for short, you have been sent there because you have been expelled to many times and it seems your last expulsion was for a really bad reason. But you can’t get kicked out of Konoha Delinquent High.” I then looked at her questioningly. Can’t get kicked out of that school? Every school has a limit, and once you pass that you get sent to another one. She must be joking.

“What do you mean you can’t get kicked out?” I asked curiously. As I turned to face her car and look at her in the drivers seat with the window down and her arm stick out a bit, she looked at me with the most serious eyes I think I will ever see in my life. She said in a monotone voice “Once you push their limits, its jail that you go to next.”  She then rolled up her window, and went driving down the road until you couldn’t see her. I stood their dazed. Jail! Once you blow these places rules, you get sent to jail!

I started to tremble and then I felt a hand on my shoulder. I flinched and spun around to see who it was. I then looked a man who had a bandage over his left eye, with gray/white hair, and he wore a mask covering the lower part of his face. “Hello, you must be the new student. May I see your paper?” I quickly flashed it over, still in shock of that if I failed this place’s rules I would be sent to jail. He then looked at it for a while. “So your Kuzime Satsuki? Welcome to your..." I interrupted him stating, "I like to be called Satoshi."  I could tell he was smiling under his mask. “Well, welcome to your new school.” As we entered the school, I wouldn’t even have guessed the hell that was in store for me.

As I walked in with the sensei guiding me, I curiously look around the halls. Everywhere was marked, and some of the walls had cracks. The doors were in no condition to slide, more like be picked up and shoved to the side. As we came to a classroom, the sign was barely hanging for its life. The ink was faded and it read A-4.

“I forgot to introduce myself, I teach the math classes of the school, my name is Hatake Kakashi.” He held out his hand to me. I took it and shook, “Nice to meet you Hatake-sensei” Yah right… what I really want to know is what’s underneath that mask. “As you already know, I’m Kuzumi Satsuki. Also I have a question about the rules on this campus.” Hatake-sensei’s eye just gleamed, and it didn’t seem what he was about to tell me was good. “Teachers are God in this place, you disobey a teacher, your out. Anything else is fine. We accept fighting, but only till a teacher feels like stopping you. We don’t care about thieving. Also when the district comes to check up on us, you’d better be good otherwise you’ll get the beating of a life time. On a small note, your our first lady guest to come in a while.”

As I was taking this in, the last part just reached me. “Wait, there aren’t any other girls?” Hatake-sensei was trying to hide a chuckle. “Well we do have one other female, but she is… as you call it ‘unique’ so she has a special class. The only time you might meet her is lunch, but she rarely eats the lunches that we serve…” Makes me wonder what sort of crap you sell…. Man I’ve should made my own food today. “… but we can talk about that later. Right now your late for class, and that isn’t a good impression on the first day is it.” Hatake-sensei shoved open the door, and the little sign fell to the floor. “This place looks like its about to fall apart.” I muttered underneath my breath. Apparently Hatake-sensei heard my remark, “Well would you like to spend the rest of the day fixing it, because here we have no problem with it.” I shook my head vigoursouly. If anything I hated most was cleaning… which reminded me about the room at home, well it wasn’t exactly home.

Hatake-sensei went inside while I stayed outside, after he spoke he gestured for me to come in. I stepped inside and the place was crowded. All unruly boys were messing around, and the classroom was cluttered. Now this is my kind of classroom. Paperplanes everywhere, people getting each other with ink, a verbal argument getting started up, shouting and exchange of small blows to the arm, and the desk and chairs disarranged. This feels like paradise, compared to the other school I just went too… Then the homeroom teacher bellowed, “All right everyone, you better clean up this mess before I send all of you on cleaning duty for the pool!” Fast figures raced before my eyes, and the classroom was reassembled to look normal again. No wonder the district hasn’t fired this school yet…

“All right, we have a new student, and I though the gods would have graced us with a lady.” I could here some of then moaning and groaning. I guess the way I dress and not fix my hair leaves me looking unattractive, not like I cared. Its there own damn fault for not knowing how to tell the difference, now I’m no cross-dresser. My mom was a mistress, and somehow I got her looks on my face, but everyone always thought I was boyish, because of my attitude. So people would think I was a pretty boy, with an attitude, which really got on my nerves. Slowy over time i accepted my fate. There was no way in hell I was going to follow in her footsteps and pretty myself up. I was always fond of the mafia though. “You stop your groaning and moaning, or I’ll make you jump of the roof of this building!” He slammed his fist on the desk and a it made a loud BOOM. Everyone was silent and you could hear the breeze flowing through the open windows. For the first time in a long time, I felt a very cold chill shiver down my spine.

“Now why don’t you tell us your name?” I turned to my homeroom teacher. He wore a bandana, a dark navy blue, and he had scars on his face. “My name is Kuzumi Sats.. Satoshi.” Now remember, this is your name, your name and only name… He grinned at me, “Well Satoshi, we’re going to have a fun time together this year.” Somehow the way he was grinning at me, made the chill just seemed like a pinch of the pain I was going to face.
