Death

Is it a shadow?
Or is it a plague?
Simply set upon us to let the higher ones laugh as they watch?
No, I think it is more simple than that
A way to refresh the world, if you will
Could it be a punishment?
Could it be the world's way of getting back?
The shadow of Death consumes all it wishes to follow it,
We are merely prey to it,
Weak and insignificant,
But those who cheat it,
And those who try it's patience,
Are the ones who experience more fun.

Yeah. I agree. It's just a furatie mnd working. Half the time I don't even know what I'm writing, it just comes to me and I write it down And geting a second chance is kinda wht I meant I guess

Good job, but i don't think there's something like "cheating death". Those who survived horrible experiances were given another chance to appreciate what they have.
