• She walked along the alleyway, hiding in her black cloak and shadows. Clutched in her hand was a dagger, and her eyes were blindfolded. One hand was pressed on the brick, and a massive shadow, shaped like a dog nudged her forward when she paused.

I've killed the boy.Just killed the boy.The girl thought in her mind, keeping it from the shadow. Do what they say The shadow dog snarled.

The shadow didn't like her thoughts, and nipped at her heel. Trembling she kept her hand on the wall like it was her lifeline. People passing by the alleyway didn't notice anything odd. Blacker shadows formed a barrier around her as he went farther away from the light.

The shadows hissed and scattered as a patch of sunlight hit them. The girl spun around, trying to see what was happening, but her feet left the ground, and she falling.

Her head cracked against the wall, and momentarily everything went white.
"Take her." The girl trembled and flinched as something warm picked her up off the floor.

Time pased by slowly, as the girl felt the turns and twists of wherever she was headed. At last there was a pause. Her blind fold was ripped off. She was sitting in one of 12 chairs, seating around a long rectangular table. One human emerged out of the shadow.

He took a seat at the far end, and drummed his fingers on the table top. The young woman let her eyes dart around and she tried as hard as possible to make herself disappear.

A taller younger looked male entered the room, and closed the door in which he came from. It was immediatly covered with darkness. He took the seat closest to the trembling girl.

"You've done something very bad." The girl let out a moan and shriveled even farther down into her seat. "We know." The man said, one eye glittered black, the other red. "You either die, or you join us." The man crisscrossed his fingers, waiting.

The girl looked up at him, then down at her fingernails. "But it was an accident." The man shrugged, then repeated what he had said.

"Die, or join us." The girl pulled the hood of her cloack up over her eyes, and whispered yes, then her head hit the table with an empty thud.
