• CHAPTER TWO

As Alexandria woke the next morning she looked outside the window after jumping out of her bed. It was a beautiful day nice and sunny and she couldn’t wait to go outside with Garnie who she loved to play with. As her parents came in to wish her a good morning she noticed that they had brought all the presents from the night before in to her room. They were already unwrapped so she could see them. They took her to her playroom where there were even more toys for her to play with. “Now listen honey, Garnie is sick and she might be gone for a while ok.” “But who is going to play with me?” I asked. As she said it a young girl with long blond hair and pretty blue eyes came in to the room.
“Honey this is Bridget she will be taking over for Garnie until she gets better alright. She is a very nice girl.” “Ok.” I said. “Can we go outside?” I pleaded “Sure just stay in the courtyard ok there is lots of space there.” “OK.” I ran and grabbed Bridget’s hand and said “please let’s go outside.” “Ok. Do you want to bring any of your new toys out with you?” After a couple of minutes going through the new toys we grabbed a few and a blanket and went outside. She was wearing one of her new play dresses and she was pretending to play house with her new baby doll. “What is your babies name Alexandria?” Bridget asked her. “It’s Persephone. Do you like it?” “Why yes I do it is a beautiful name” she said playing along. When we had finished playing house she started a game of tag which I loved to play. We ran and laughed until it was time to eat lunch. Bridget was really sweet and she loved to play with her. They spent the rest of the day going around playing and when the day drew to a close it was after one of the happiest days for her. “Mommy, can Bridget stay even after Garnie gets better please? I really like her and she is so nice when she plays with me.” “We will see ok I will talk about it with your father and Bridget to see if she wants to stay with you if your father says yes and she does too then it will be a yes ok.” “Ok.” I thought about what I would play with Bridget tomorrow as I went to sleep.

The next day started out just as sunny as the day before and Alexandria was dressed in her new play dress from Garnie which was blue with a white daisy pattern sewn in. She couldn’t wait to see Bridget to tell her about the new game she had come up with. As she ran downstairs Barry came up to her. “Your majesty your mother wants to see you in the throne room before you go and play.” “Ok.” As Bridget and I walked to the throne room I saw that she had a weird look on her face. “What’s wrong?” I asked “Oh it’s nothing I’m fine.” she said. As we walked into the throne room I ran to my mother the room was getting set up for the people of the kingdom. Once a week the king and Queen sat in the thrones as the townspeople came up and asked them for help with problems and to give them ideas about the kingdom. I never sat through these they always had Garnie take me outside or to the playroom. When I got there my parents looked up. “Alexandria what are you doing in here?” “Barry said you wanted to see me Mother.” “I didn’t ask you here honey are you sure Barry said that. It was Bridget who spoke this time. “Your Majesty I was told also that she was needed here to talk to you.”
At that moment there was a commotion outside the throne room door. My Mother gasped and my Father rushed forward and picked me up. “Daddy what is happening? I asked. He put me in the playpen that was sitting to the side. It used to be mine but had started to be used for these meetings for women who had to bring their young children. He told Bridget to come and stand by the playpen with some other guards. “Guard her just in case.” He told them. Then he turned to me. “Honey I need you to stay in here ok please keep quiet. Ok. We don’t know what is happening yet but I want you safe promise me.” “Ok I promise.” And then I sat down and played with some of the old toys that were lying on the playpen floor. After a moment the commotion got louder. The door burst open and a messenger came running in. “The Fallout Sir it’s them they have come for her.” “Guards.” They formed a tight circle around me so I couldn’t see anything. I remembered to sty quiet. A moment later the door crashed open making me jump. I could hear the door hit the floor as it broke from the hinges. That was when chaos erupted. I could hear a man talking to my father in a deep voice. “Where is your daughter King Henry? I hear she is two years old now you know what happens after that.” “You cannot have her I won’t let you. You will not take my Kingdom from me.” “And why is that? We want to take control of all the Kingdoms yours was next on the list now where is your daughter Alexandria?” He asked with a more forceful tone. I sat there wondering why he wanted me. Why am I so important to him? Who was this man who wanted to know where I was? I couldn’t see anything. “You wont tell me where she is I will find her and then you will never see her again.” “Fine then. You leave me no choice.” “Bridget oh Bridget Where is Bridget?” Two things happened at that moment. The first was that the guards that were around me suddenly weren’t there anymore. They were thrown away from the playpen and then I could see. The second was that Bridget grabbed me out of the playpen and started to walk toward the man who had come in through the door. He stared at me with his eyes that looked black as coal. I looked at my Mother and Father as she walked closer to the other man. “Bridget what are you doing?” my mother asked in her shrill voice filled with panic. “Playing my part thank you for hiring me it made it so much easier for me to take her away from you.” That was when the fighting started the scary man pushing me and Bridget out the door. “No Mommy, Daddy.” I looked at Bridget and screamed “Where are you taking me? Take me to my mom and dad.” After we were away from the throne room he stopped us. I was crying now and I could hear my father shouting to bring me back. “Take me back now” I said crying. “Hand her to me.” The man said. When Bridget handed me to him I started to scream at him to let me go but he wouldn’t listen. They picked up a bag from the side of the hallway. It wasn’t zipped up all the way and I saw some of my clothes in there. “No you cant take me away. No let me go. MOMMY DADDY don’t let them take me.” I screamed and screamed. As we started to go towards the back of the Castle I saw my father running to catch up to us. He saw me in the scary mans arms crying and screaming and ran harder but he didn’t get to me. One of the men that had come with the scary man got to him and hit him with something. I watched as he hit the floor and didn’t get up. I couldn’t stop crying and screaming. The man that was holding me was rough and not nice. “Grab the sedative out of the bag.” He ordered Bridget. As she grabbed we slowed down and one of the men that was with him grabbed my hands and tied them with something that looked like rope but was a lot smoother. I tried to get my hands a way from him but I was being held to tight. After my hands were tied Bridget came up to me and I tried to shy away from her but the man wouldn’t let me. “I want to go back let me go.” “Your mine now your not coming back.” The man said. I cried harder and then felt a p***k in my arm. As I looked down at my arm I saw Bridget pulling something out of my arm. After that everything started to blur and we were moving again. I felt something being put in my mouth and could feel that is was a pacifier like the ones I used to have when I was little she thought. After that everything went black.
