• The rain started to pour down from the black heavens as the thunder roared with victory as the great warrior won the battle to retrieve justice for the whole kingdom. His armor was tainted with blood which was shed from the war, newly wounded scars appeared on his face and his hair, wet from the battle between his fellow allies and hostile enemies. It was indeed a marvelous and epic battle but sadly, he wasn't able to save the duchess from being murdered by the other kingdom. Tears started to fill up his eyes but he suppressed them from flowing out, for a warrior shall not cry from failing his mission. The duchess was in fact, his lover as well and he did loved her dearly for he would trade his life for her safety.

Memories were recalled inside his head as he thought about the wonderful times they spent together; those times when he would hold her hand and tell her how much he loved her fully. He remembered her gentle smile, her precious laugh and the delicate tears she shed whenever sadness overpowered her. Everything about her was beautiful to him and in fact, she was the most desired thing that he would ever want and he was grateful that he have met her. It would all be thanks to his trusty comrade, Phillip.

Suddenly, as he remembered the memories, he couldn't suppress the tears and fell down on his knees as a loud thump was heard as his armor hit the ground. He took off the armor in his head as he shouted and burst a hysterical cry towards the dark skies. The rain continued to pour, joining him with his burden and pain; like it was telling him that everything would be alright soon. Maybe soon enough.

As he cried, he heard footsteps from his left. He opened his eyes, stopped all his hysteria and got upright, looking to the source of noise. The pupils of his eyes dilated, much more it displayed certain shock and gratefulness at the same time. There she was, still beautiful to his eyes despite the worn-out gown and a few wounded skin and beside her was Phillip, smiling for his friend had won a battle.

Tyler's lips quivered as his mind started to search for something to say or either how thankful he was for Phillip. "I-I..." Tyler trailed off, his heart beat getting quicker by the time he sees them both alive.

The duchess, his lover, his Elizabeth was alive after all. He couldn't believe it.

The two approached him as they both knelt down beside the brave warrior. Elizabeth, on the other half, held his face and wiped away his salty tears; Phillip only smiled at the two love birds.

"Hey, Commander Tyler. Congratulations." Phillip praised.

Elizabeth sighed, smiling as her dimples appeared on both sides of her cheeks, making her much more gorgeous at his sight. "I love you." She spoke as those three relaxing words gave him a shiver down his spine. It was as if he felt that they were already getting married.

"Thanks Phillip." The heroic commander thanked as he shifted his gaze to the gorgeous, courageous duchess. "And I love you too. I even love you more than my life itself." Tyler grinned as he suddenly felt her warm lips on his.
