• “ARGH! I hate my teachers! They are intruding on my life! They take away my free time with homework, you can’t talk to your friends at school and they want to know every little thing! GAH!” I vented to Rose, my sister.
“I know but that’s life, you gotta learn how to deal with these things. And maybe if you didn’t waste your time you would be able to finish your homework quickly and have free time.”
“Like you have any free time” I scoffed.
“Actually I do, you’re the only person I know who doesn’t. Sorry Lily.”
    “Nerds”
    “Slacker”
    I glared at Rose.
    “I hate you.”
“Love you too Lily!” she replied cheerfully.
“I still think they’re intruders in our lives.”
    “So are parents”
    “Sadly, yes.”
“Well, let’s just forget about that and have some fun!”
    “Ya!”
We picked up our controllers and started playing until…
    “Lily! Rose!”
It was our mom calling us.
    “Ya?” We both shouted.
“Have you two finished all your homework?”
    We both groaned.
“A perfect example of both intruders.”
“Ya, but we still gotta get it done.”
    “I know, I know…”
Stupid intruders! I thought as I trudged downstairs, taking my time.
“Hurry up Lily! You’re slower than a turtle! And would you please stop stomping? It sounds like a herd of horses is running in here!”
“Sorry mom! I’ll be down in a second!” I called, “Stupid homework, stupid teachers, stupid mom…” I muttered under my breathe. I finally got downstairs and started to work on the evil that is called homework. An hour later Rose finished, leaving me to suffer alone. Another hour, finally I finished! I put my books away and started to go upstairs to join Rose before…
    “Dinnertime!”
After dinner, I did the dishes. Before I could get away, more chores needed to be done. When I finally finished everything, it was time for bed. NO! Stupid intruders taking away my freedom!
