• Turning the corner seemed a harmless idea until I ran into Mr. Dreamy-the most popular, handsome, and funny guy in school. I had a crush on him since 6th grade but I never actually knew him. My head started to spin and I became a sweating dog. It was so nervebreaking that I turned around to talk to someone I didn't know. Then it happened-"Hey Iris!" I heard from behind realizing that it was Preston's voice. The one that all the girls had a crush on including me. "Iris do you know the math homework?", he asked. All I said was no, turning to talk to the stranger once more. As he left I took one deep breath and left. Then I ran off to find my friends.

    I found my friend Katie getting a drink from the old water fountain in front of the school. She was not popular like me but had some friends. Alot of my freinds didn't like her and they asked why I was hanging out with a little 6th grader. I didn't know either but we talked about many cute guys. "Hi katie" I said as I got to the water fountain. "Iris" she said as she started laughing. Then she pointed behind me. There he was sitting against the school fence looking at me. Actually more like staring. "Iris, Preston was checking you out", teasingly she said. Then we started giggiling like some crazy fan girl from some anime I used to watch. I was kinda wishing in my head that he actually stared at me.

    During lunch I was sitting there staring into a black hole of thoughts and love. "Iris Hey Iris! snap out of it, will ya" said my friend, Leslie. She was a short stubby little girl that could make anyone laugh and I must say she was cool. "Iris I heard a rumor that Mr. Dreamy has a crush on you" she said. "It's true I heard the rumor in the bathroom" said my other friend Brianna. She was skinny and was nice. After eating lunch, me and my friends sat under a tree. "Hey Iris I'm gonna ask Preston if likes you", said Leslie. With that I tried to stop her but she was tough for her height and walked up to him.
