• Intro:
Serenity is a young girl/soul that works as a soul watcher who's job is to "eliminate" all soul that enters another realm without legal permission from HQ counselours. She acquired her SOULHQ powers thanks to an advance soul watcher by accident so she knows nothing about this. She's determined and never backs down. She was given a notebook were HQ writes the names of all she has to eliminate. This notebook is called "Soulbook". Once every decade, she must report back to HQ and give the names for "Terminal Registration". If she were to fail a mission, she would have to go into the realm and slay the soul without any help, not even her partner or dingo, a dog partner.

Her job partner and best friend is Matthew. He was the one who gave Serenity her powers. His young and free spirit always drives him to do stupid stuff. But his desire to protect those he love makes him a vital opponent. He has great skills when winding a sword and cooking. He's never punctual. Always late. But at least he arrives... at the nick of time. He doesn't hate but he dislikes humans. He think's they're weird and terrible. "They have there rules yet they sin." He's very smart and if he's not on the kitchen cooking then he is training with Serenity. He's very powerful and has a very, very strong reputation among the other soul watchers and was aknowledge by the heads of HQ as one of the most skilled soul watchers.

HQ is a rural and agreeable system. Also, it is a huge building in the center of the souls realm. For example: soul watchers are the agents and HQ is the police department. It's the base of all information, charge, and duty to all who work there. Ranzaroth, is the head counselour. He is part of the system. His past remains a mistery yet to be discovered. He has an uninterested look and the apearance of a 28 year old man. His never abscent narrow eyes and he has a high temper .

The thirty brothers are a fare alliegience of HQ. They are all infact brothers (Poor mother...). What makes them interesting is that each and all of them (Note: All male.) have a special power within them. They are the most powerful beings in all realms. It is believed they are the legacy of the God. It is rumored that Ranzaroth posesses a power far greater then theres... but it's just a small, insignificant, rumor...

Still, Ranzaroth fears the Child of Prophecy. Legend has it, that someone in some realm posseses a power so great, it could destroy all existence. Nobody knows who that person is but Ranzaroth fears and hopes that day never comes. That's why he swears to completely destroy that person. But who?

    Chapter 1:
It was that time again, and Serenity was stuck in HQ for a whole month until registration's over. She was assigned a dormroom and was currently laying on her bed light sleeping. It was noon and she was getting hungry. She promised Matthew she would wait for him but Matthew's running late. She didn't even bothered to change. She just returned from a ten-year-long trip from realm to realm searching for immigrant souls and was really tired.

Time passed and passed and still no sign of Matthew. "Ooh that's it!" She stood up from her bed. Her wavy, long, silver hair dropped down to her light-tanned waist. "Now where did I put my notebook? Can't leave without my Soulbook." Just then, Serenity remembered her Soulbook had been taken away for registration. "Oh pff duh!" She said whincing at her own stupidity. She walks to the door sorta dizzy and stretched her arm. Suddenly, she becomes aware that the doorknob is turning. The door creeks open and in comes Matthew. Matthew was about to say hi but before he could even think the word, Serenity pound him down to the floor. "YOU!!! I'VE BEEN WAITING ALL NOON, YA' KNOW?!" Sernity yelped tapping her foot on the floor. Matthew moaned and groaned as he got up from the floor rubbing the back of his head.
    "Ow..."
"Yes... ow my stomach!" Matthew raised his eyes and got a look at Serenity's mad gleem. "Okay, I'm sorry. Remember, my Soulbook has more names then yours. It took me longer then I expected." He explained, still feeling pain in the back of his head.
"Oh really?" Matthew smiled. He reached into his bag and pulled out a plastic box from the cafeteria with a cheescake inside. How Serenity loved cheesecake. When she saw it, her eyes turned from mad to a glittering sight.
"I knew you'd react in some way so I bought you this." Serenity snatched the box from his hand. "Well you knew right!" Matthew rolled his eyes.
"Can we go now?" Matthew asked annoyed. "I am as well starving... ya' know."
Shortly after, Matthew and Serenity were out the door. they were walking down the semi-crowded corridor, both stomachs rumbbling. Other soul watchers were also wondering the halls along with other souls and spirits with there ghostly look. The soul watchers have a much more solid appearance. "So where are we going, Matt?" Serenity asked. Matt smiled a grin and chuckled. "What's so funny?"
    "Oh Nothing."
In the souls realm, there's actually nothing. Just a gigantic building known as HQ in the center surrounded by a dark sea as far as the eye can see and a midnight black sky. There were only 1,200 eatery spots inside and Serenity was sick and tired of all of them. "Can't you just cook? I mean, your food taste way better then the one in here."
"Thanks but... I don't think so." They got on the huge elevator. A building of 3,000 floors. They were on the 569th floor but luckuly the elevators were extremely fast. In eight seconds, they were already down and that's including all the stops they made. The technology here was so advance, you couldn't even feel the elevator moving. The building has a middle floor. It's the most crowded one of all because the middle floor is the main stop of all elevators and when an elevator was packed, they all had to wait for the next one there.

They reached the lobby. A rather crowded place. It was decorated in such way, it seemed like ball room made out of gold. A gothic chapell. In the center roof hanged a crystal chandelier. Serenity looked comfused. It was clear there weren't any food stops down here and less outside. "Huh?" She turned around and saw Matt already on the other side of the golden room. "Matt, wait!" She ran out to him. Matthew heard the tack-tack-tack of her shoes and turned around. When Serenity caught up to him he smiled. She gave a disapproving look. They kept walking until they were no longer on the lobby but next to some windows were you could see outside. "Where are we going?"
"You'll see." Matthew smirked. Obviously, the key to getting to another realm wasn't swimming and Matt wasn't wearing his bathing suit so... what was he doing?
"No..." Serenity clutched onto Matt's vest. "I'm too hungry for you to keep me walking in circles..." Serenity whined. She was beginning to see things double. Everything was spinning for her.
"We're here." Matt said. Serenity looked up at the big door with the neon sign that said: EXIT. "Huh? What do you mean we're here? There's nothing out there but water and sea monsters." She said raising an eye brow. Matt rolled his eyes. He pushed the lever down and it creeked open revealing a surprise behind: A table for two lit by three scented candle.
"Huh? Did you do this?" She asked.
"Well since it's our first day here, I tought we could celebrate our arrival in a different kind of way." He said slowly pushing Serenity. You could here the sound of the waves crushing down onto the brick fortress that surrounded HQ. You could smell the salt of the sea. It was very relaxing. It made you forget all about your issues and conflicts. Serenity sat down on a chair and Matt sat on the opposite one. Each of them had a tray infront of them covered all by a lid.
"Okay... before I pull the lid and reveal the food..." Serenity spoke. "Did you cook?" Matthew smiled. Clear sign of a yes. Serenity wrinkled her nose and pulled the lid. Underneath were some mash potatoes with gravy and a sirloin stake. All top with some side vegetables. Next to the table stood a small basket. Matt opened it and pulled out some red wine and poured it on the empty cups next to the trays. "Um... I'm not as old as you... I'm seventeen... I'm afraid the alcohol will have to wait for... I dunno... next year..." Matt chuckled as he placed the cup infront of him.
"You act like a human. You're a SOULHQ for crying outloud!"
"But I wasn't always a SOULHQ! Before you came along, I was seventeen!"
"You're not going to die for drinking wine. Besides, you've been here one year. Even if your apearence is of a seventeen year old, technically, you're already eighteen." Serenity nodded and drank the wine. "Easy for you to say... eighteen year old..." She mumbled.
    "What?" Matt looked up.
"Nothing! nothing..." Matt smiled and continued eating.

Dinner was served and all were happy... some were happy...

What a nice way to kick it.
