“Class today we have a new student his name is Shenlaer, he doesn't have a race yet but soon will so he is not the hunter or the prey.” Our teacher says in her snooty voice that she always uses when we have a new comer, because she's a “human” and doesn't like the whole hunting thing.
“Riiinng!!” The bell for Foxes to leave goes off and as I walk through the door Hikachi says in my ear, “Your dead meat, literally.” When a fox is aloud to leave, they have a five minute run home to hide, or they contemplate on a hunt. For us we decide to hunt, even though the popular kids hate us in school they rely on us out of school, and just like karma they give something in return. We ran to the rocks within the forest though we couldn't transform freely like Lycans we can still hid until we do.
“Coralette! Found a strander, don't know if he's one of our own though.” Christie one of the most girls in school was going to have me do a sneak tackle. Oh, I forget your mortal you don't know what a sneak tackle is here. When Fox hunt they leave a scent to confuse the prey, but since we aren't fox yet we can do a back tackle to the ground using a different scent.
“Ready Coralette, 1...2...3...4... go!” I jump straight in to the tree skipping on branches as I go. I was very swift as I went through the branches. I had the scent of werewolf on me which smelled AWFUL. The only weird thing was when I stopped right above the strander he didn't smell like the awful stench of the werewolf, he didn't even smell of a sweet fox. No, this strander was human, and his reminded me of someone.... Unfortunately I was already in position to pounce off the tree and onto his back to hold him down while the foxes close in.
“I can't do it. He's the new kid from school you know, Shenlaer.” I whisper into my cell. I put my cell away and stand up in a full body position like the Lycans do when they finish hunting and toying with there prey. As I look down I notice he has a huge claw mark across his torso as if someone had taken a claw and slashed him right through his shirt. I jump down, accidentally spooking him.
“Who are you? I'm already in enough trouble as it is. A stupid wolf came up behind, and I turned he slashed my torso!” he screamed in a panicky voice. I notice he's very tall with brown hair and green eyes the color of the forest trees. I stare at him for a moment, suddenly a huge cry is heard in the distance, it was a Lycan full transformed screaming out to scare the prey its caught. “What animal from hell is that now?!?!” He grabs my arm and yells this in my face and as he does, I feel the presence of a Lycan coming forth. I pull my arm arm dragging him along with me into the moonlight to transform into my real body, but still won't let go.
“Do you really want to push me,” I say as I get ready to bite, “because I am ready to take as far as death.” I bite into his right arm and he lets go of mine. I knew I shouldn't leave him alone but I had to there was no choice. I quickly transform into a beautiful orange haired fur a stripe of black on my face to show how strong I really am. I ran as fast as I could toward the howling Lycan. As I enter the forest he looks at me in amazement as if he he had just witnessed a miracle.
“Christie?! Sweet Foxes?!?! ANY FOX!!!” No one answers my paws become more and more tired as I run through the forest. Suddenly a blood curling scream of pain cut through the air whipping me right in the face. I ran toward the scream and as I got closer I came up to a patch where a ton of Lycans where huddling around pool of blood.
