• Control center ……. The serge called out front and center rhino squad. 12 heavily armed soldiers lined up beside each other. The serge said I have a mission for u. raven squad has been captured by brutes we need u to get down to where they r at and rescue those men. But beware it will be extremely hard for u men to get in. the brutes have then whole area on high alert. Then the serge said when u guys land radio to us and let us know. He said u r all dismissed good luck soldiers. The men all got into a pelican and took off. The pilot said it will be a few hours til we reach the city. So said travis one of the soldiers u excited to kick some more brute butt. Jarred said oh yeah we r taking back r city. The commander of the squad said ok once we land we r going to spilt up into two groups. Jarred, travis, Kevin , chris , shawn , and me r going to take one route and jake , leon, jones , nel , ben , and roy r going to take the other route. Then the commander said everyone understand everyone answered yes sir. The commander said that ben will command the second group. Chris then said hey I did not know that brutes took captives. The commander said I guess we learn something new every day. 1 hour and 45 min later the pilot said ok I see the city we r close and it looks like……. yup they do have the area on high alert hang on its going to be a bumpy ride. We got banshees about 10 of them and wraiths about 5 and snipers I don’t know if we r going to get through in one piece. All of the sudden the pelican got hit by gun fire. Damn said the pilot. The pelican then got hit with missiles and one of the wings caught on fire. Crap said the pilot we r going down and fast I cant control this thing it is out of control. The pelican went down fast and just made it over some roof tops. Hold on said the pilot we r going to crash. The pelican smashed into a building. The front of the pelican where the pilot was burst into flames. The soldiers all jumped out of the pelican and ran to safety. The commander counted to make sure all the soldiers were there but there were only 11. The commander ran back to the pelican and saw that jones was knocked out. He grabbed him and dragged him to safety .a couple min after he got jones out of the pelican, the pelican exploded. The commander check on jones and saw that he was not breathing. He tried to revive him but there was nothing to do to help him. The commander said jones is gone. Travis said he was a good soldier he will be missed. The commander said well we have to go on with the mission. Jarred said hey do u hear that. The commander said everyone stay quiet the brutes r approaching r position. Take shelter and stay quiet when I give the signal we all fire at them. Make sure ur assault rifles r locked and loaded. Everyone took there positions and waited for the brutes to come in full view. 2 wraiths slowly approached and then a group of 12 brutes came in view. The commander gave the permission and all the soldiers started to shoot. Bullets and plasma gun fire were flying everywhere. Jarred started to throw sticky grenades at the wraiths. One grenade stuck on the wraith and exploded. But it did not stop the wraith. 8 brutes remained and started to throw grenades. A sticky grenade landed on Shawn’s arm he tried to take it off but it exploded tearing his arm off. He fell to the ground and screamed in pain. He picked his gun back up and charged at the brutes he fired crazy until he ran out of bullets. Then he dropped his gun and pulled a grenade out and pulled the clip off of it. He dove at 3 brutes and blew them all up including himself. Leon ran at one of the wraiths and jumped on the wraith. He busted the door of the wraith open and stuck a grenade in it. He jumped off and dove to safety. The wraith exploded in fire. The second wraith fire missiles and plasma bullets everywhere. One plasma bullet struck ben in the leg. He fell to the ground and held his leg in pain. Jarred shot two brutes and killed them then he ran over to the wraith. The wraith tried to shoot him but he ran to fast for the slow moving vehicle. He ran to the back of it and smashed the butt of the assault rifle into it. He tore the wires out of it and it started to spin in circles and fire bullets everywhere. Jarred then ran back to safety. The 3 remaining brutes started to retreat but the wraith started to fire bullets at them it killed all 3 brutes and then it slammed into a wall about five times until it caught on fire and burst into flames. The commander slowly walked out from cover and said its all clear. The commander ran over to ben who had a plasma bullet hole through his leg. He said don’t worry soldier it will be alright. He wrapped up bens leg and helped him up to his feet. The commander said so how do u feel. Ben said I feel like I just got shot and I am in so much pain. The commander said well don’t worry it is only a flesh wound. Then he said ok we got to keep moving on.
