The brutes r not dumb and if we split up now then they can easily kill us all. The 10 soldiers started to move slowly down a abandon street. Jarred said to travis don’t worry I will make sure u get out alive even if it means that I have to die for u. then the commander said enough talk we got to keep on the guard. He said watch for the rooftops that is where snipers will usually be and the windows. All of a sudden two banshees came out and started to fire at us. The commander said take cover take cover! Jarred and travis and ben dove behind a car. The rest of the men ran and hid inside a abandon building. The banshees flew and fired missiles at the car. Ben , jarred , and travis ran from the car. The car exploded. The men were now stuck in the open. They fired their assault rifles at them. one banshee burst into flames and exploded. The second kept coming at the men and fired plasma bullets like crazy. The bullets struck ben in the head and face he fell to the ground. Blood poured out everywhere. Jarred and travis kept on shooting at the banshee until it exploded. All the men ran over to ben. He started to choke on his own blood. They tried to help ben to breath but he could not and he died. The commander took his dog tag and said I am going to kill everyone of those pieces of garbage. He said come on lets go there’s nothing else we can do. The soldiers kept on moving down the street. The soldiers kept moving along the street until they reached a pelican that had crashed. the commander said keep ur eyes open this could be a trap that the brutes set on us. The soldiers all moved to the pelican slowly. They looked inside but there was nobody inside even the pilot was gone. Jarred said hey we can probably use their radio to contact the control center and let them know that we r in the city and that we found raven squads pelican. The commander went to the pilots seat and turned the radio on. Hello said the commander this is rhino squad does anyone come in. there was only static. The soldiers waited a couple of minutes but there was no response. The commander said I guess we just have to keep moving on no one is answering. The soldiers keep on moving down the street. Kevin said hey look a candy machine he ran over to it and shot the glass and started to take candy out. The commander said come on we got to keep on moving. Kevin said hold on just one sec. travis said watch out snipers. The men ran and hid behind a building. Kevin turned around and went to run also but one of the snipers shot him in the head and blew his head off. The commander said damn were r they. Nel said they r hiding in the windows. The commander said then we will never be able to kill them cause we only got r assault rifles , and pistols we will just have to take a different route. The men found a alley to go down. The men started to walk down the alley when they came back out into another street. All of a sudden they heard a weird screaming noise then they looked up and saw a pelican coming out of the sky. It was on fire and it flew over some buildings and disappeared over the buildings. Then the soldiers heard a loud crash. The commander said do u smell that smell. Jarred said yeah it smells like rotten flesh or something. The commander said please don’t tell me it is what I think it is. Jake said what is it. The commander said It is the flood. Jake said the flood I thought the flood was gone , I thought they die off. The commander said I guess not all of them. He said this is a real bad problem we r facing now. The brutes were bad enough , but the flood r worse. If they break out they can destroy this whole city. Never mind the whole city jarred said , they can destroy the world. U heard what happened on the halo ring. Those freaking things took over the whole damn thing and they had to destroy the ring.
