• CHAPTER 1: SASUKE'S LAST BREATH
    Sasuke could feel his heart racing as he fought hard to keep his precious,4 year old daughter safe out of harms way. It had been twelve years since he had returned to Konoha and married the woman who loved him the most, and since then, he had 3 children:The twin 10 year old boys, Hikaru and Hiraku,(also called Raku), and his little girl, Mikoto, who he named after her grandmother, and whom he nicknamed Miky. Currently the boys were in class, and normally Miky would be oo, if it weren't for undying curiosity. She had wandered out into the forest of death, where many enemy ninja were planning to assanate the Hokage, Naruto. Sasuke was sentout on a mision by the elders of the village to stop the horrid schemes against his best friend, back up to be sent shortly after. As soon as Sasuke saw his little girl, so close to the assasains, the branch she was standing on broke, leaving her hanging from the tree by her shirt. The enemy ninja immediatley captured her and started scaring her by holding kunai knives dangerously close to her throat. This was to much for Sasuke to bear. Miky was his pride and joy, and he couldn't bear to lose her, so he sprung into action, fighting tooth and nail to get his precious child back, but there were too manny of them. The only thing he could do now was to shield her with his body. He didn't allow himself to die until he knew that his daughter was safe in the arms of his backup. Mikoto sobbed as she saw her lifeless father carried away. She had wittnessed her own father's death at an age too early for a child of five. She was soon returned into her mother's waiting arms,feeling fully responsible for Sasuke's death, responsible for the death of one of the villages elite Jonin, the death of Sakura's father, and for the next ten years, her brothers and mother consoled her, trying to reassure her that this was not her fault, then, on her fifteenth birthday, she was assigned a mission with two ninja boys around a year older that her: Oromi and Deidara, her best friend and a familiar blonde haired blue eyed stranger. Deidara held out his gloved hand.
    "Hi!"he said, grinning"I'm Dei! Pleased to meet you. Or, nice to see you again. You seem so familiar...I just can't put my finger on it." Mikoto blushed and turned, burying her face in Oromi's chest.
    "She's just a little shy. She'll get more talkativeonce she gets to know you." Her childhood friend said, scared that the stranger would be upset at her actions.
    "I remember you now. We went to the same starter school together. You never talked to me."
    "That's because my dad told me no to." She responded coldly. A hurt expression flashed across Deidara's face.
    "I understand. He pobably had some kind of grudge against my dad. Alot f people do. If you'd like, I could always ask to be assigned to a different mission."
    Mikoto shook her head, feeling bad about how sh acted towrds him.
    "Well, if not, we better get going. This package isn't going to deliver itself." He said smiling. Oromi petted her head, trying tho soothe her off of him.
    "C'mon Miky. Let's go."Deidara said cheerfully. She swung around at the name.
    "Never-call-me-that-again." She said, furious. Ormi grabbed her arm.
    "Calm down Mikoto. He didn't know."
    "Didn't know what?"
    "N-nothing. Just don't call her that name."
    Deidara shrugged and the trio started out the gate, unaware of the adventures that lay ahead of them.
