    Title: Twins vs Twins

My sister exchanged a few words with the fox boy, who appeared eager to give a run for it as soon as we left the musty shop. I learned that he was called Talon. After that, the journey home remained silent.

I bet you're thinking our living area consists of a apartment complex or some small house. I can tell you now, no we don't live in anything like that. This is not to say we are poor and act as rebels thriving on the streets. Our lives are good, very good.

We reside in a three story hotel. Our parents gave us enough money for an inn and basic things. Instead of being responsible, Tohru bought us an old Inn that was vacant.

There's plenty of room I admit, but that money ended up being drained on our new slave and cheap food. There's not enough for the appliances. To deal with this issue, we bathe in the hot spring behind the hotel and do old fashion activities.

Enough about our living conditions. Let's move on to our new family member...

Talon not only had the features of a fox, but he was fairly good looking. His white hair reached below the waist, and his yellow eyes would draw any female in. To put it simple, he would of won any high school beauty pageant or I should say maybe. The ratty clothes that shop put him in took away from his natural appearance.

Aside from being Mr. Pretty Boy, he looked like the silent and brooding type. In which I say is a perfect match for Tohru.

On our way home, Tohru urged him to speak, but most of the time he'd remain distant and silent. It was only until we reached the hotel entrance that everyone became active again. Tohru told him about the hotels condition and let go of a dull gray chain which lead to a collar around Talons neck. Tohru stared quietly at him for a moment, smiled, then turned to open the door. "Let's fix those injuries of yours up first," she murmured.

Talon insisted he was fine mainly because of poor treatment from doctors in the past. Understanding his uneasyness, she tried to by pass his injuries that laid hidden underneath his shaggy garb.

They stepped into the dark hallway. Again our electricity was out. Using a flashlight to light her way, she went to show Talon a room he could use. She thought of a room close to hers so it would be easy for her to see him and for him to see her.

Thumping and scurrying emerged from the black mass as we went deeper into the hotel. Tohru groaned at realizing which room the noise was coming from. Opening the door, she found paintings scattered about and paint cans sloshed over onto the floor. She growled lowly. Those paintings were hers! She had worked on them for a client and was just about to send them off.

A young male sat in the middle of the room. He wore a slave necklace just like Talon. His skin was strangely...a dark purple...
His eyes were blue, his eyes were light purple, and his ears were pointed. He would've been the strangest looking Dark Elf the elven race would ever see.

"Oh M-Mrs Tohru I.."the boy paused once seeing Tohru filled with rage.

"Julian...Why are you in this room? I told you and Annie not to set foot in here.."Tohru asked. She tried to keep herself from yelling at the slave since the slave wasn't hers. Who knew what his true master had done to him. Tohru took in a deep breath and managed to restrain her anger.

"Lady Ann asked me to bring her the diary you took...She thought it must've been in here" Julian answered weakly. "That animal that ran off knocked those cans of paint over and I was trying to catch it..but it would seem I only added to the problem...I'm sorry..."he said. He stared down at the ground and nervously twiddled his fingers.

Tohru's eyes narrowed over as the rat Julian spoke off ran past her feet and into the hallway. She then turned back to the dark elf.
Tohru shook her head to dismiss the apology.

"It's alright...you were only helping and doing what was asked of you...However, please inform me next time before running after a pesticide..."she stated. "Oh, Julian? Would you mind showing him to a empty room?" she asked while pointing back at Talon.

Julian peered out of the room and saw the half foxed male standing in the hall. "Sure Mrs Tohru..."he answered. He seemed relieved to be let off easily.

"Don't worry about the diary. I'll speak with Annie when she gets back." Tohru said while waving him away. She stopped in front of Talon.

"That man over their is Julian. He's not with me, but he'll show you were you can stay. There are many other students here that have slaves...and sometimes they're not the greatest to their slaves or anyone elses...So please be careful"she warned with a light smile.

Oh, I guess I missed that part about the students. You see, me and Tohru couldn't afford everything the hotel had to offer. So, we came to the decision of using the hotel as a crutch for teens going off to college. By far we are cheaper then the dorm rooms and that's why our hotel is so populated. Not just with students, but also the students slaves.

While Tohru had been talking with Julian, Talon had watched the rat run from the room. Not able to contain his hunger nor his inner demon he transformed into a complete fox and ran after it. Pouncing like a cat onto its pray, he held it in his mouth and walked back over behind Tohru.

He laid the rat down. He heard her talk about the other students mistreating slaves," I'm used to it." He said shrugging a little. " Umm can I have this?" He asked motioning to the dead rat on the ground.

Tohru nor I was unsure of what to be more grossed out about. The fact that his injuries included dried blood and dirt, or...the dead animal...
