• It was a warm, peaceful evening. The full moon was reflecting off the lake in a way that made all the stars look obsolete. There was no better night to be outside. The Zea tribe was performing their "Harvest of the Lunar Flowers", hoping to bring their ruler a fantastic feast of the roots and berries.
Every full moon in August, the prince, Cerutias, would lead the search for the beautiful silver flowers. Once they found 10 or 20 of the rare plants, they would bring them back and prepare an amazing meal. The berries from the flower bushes would melt in your mouth, and you could feel the sparkling food make its way down. You would be at peace for months.
However, there was a problem this year. A strange elf had watered the plants, but he put in a small leaf of oleander in one of the flowers. Having no idea, a peasant took it and begin to grind it into a powder that would serve as a seasoning for the meat of the Zuoga Tiger. The king said it looked promising, and took a small bite. Having eaten oleander, he began to feel sick, and the obsolete medicine of the Zea tribe could not save him.
Within a matter of hours, the king was dead, which meant Cerutias would be the new ruler of the Zea tribe, but there was only on problem. He needed a queen, but he had only left the castle during the Harvest, when it was nearly pitch black. The only Zea tribe member he had known was his father, and everyone else was a complete stranger.
