• The night air was crisp making it harder for him to breath, but he didn’t' care. In fact he hardly cared about anything now a days, but there was one thing on his mind. It was his dream; it had been reoccurring for a while. His faded grey eyes drew up to the black night sky which was lighted by only a few stars. For a moment, just a moment he felt something around his body, like soft wings embracing him. This was the first time he had ever felt something embrace him like this; it hurt a little. He's eye closed, and the only thing that could be heard was the gentle breeze that whistled by. "Who are you?" the man whispered. There was no answer, just the wind. After a few moments he heard soft crunching noises coming from behind, he dared not to turn around. He was afraid, for the first time in a while he was afraid; he shut his eyes tightly, he felt...cold. Was it death? "Who are you?" he asked once again, his voice quivered. The wind picked up and another gentle breeze blew by prickling his face and ears.
"Do not be afraid." the voice whispered, it seemed to be carried by the wind some how. "My dear friend, Willis." Willis's heart began to skip beats, he was now frightened. He felt hands rest on his tense shoulders making him jump. Willis turned around but saw nothing.
"Where...where are you?" he asked, afraid of who might be there.
"Please...do not be afraid my friend, I'm right here." the voice answered calmly. Willis shut his eyes and saw something in the distance. It was a man, he was surrounded by of light; his eyes were gentle and comforting he had light skin which was warm like the sun and his hair was a golden yellow like autumn leaves. When he spoke, it was in a soothing tone; Willis couldn't help but kneel before him.
"I don't understand." warm tears seemed to flow freely down Will's cheeks. The man just smiled down at him. "I've given up on him...I gave up on God years ago." he paused then began to sob.
"He hasn't given up on you." the man cooed. Willis held himself tightly, shaking vibrantly from crying.
"Has he stopped loving me, even after I cursed at him and blamed him for all my problems?" he asked forcing his eyes up the man. He shook his head.
"Do you still love him?" Willis nodded.
“Yes...." he rose his head up the sky and said over and over "I love you...I love you Father God...forgive me...forgive me." Willis looked back down at the man who was now right next to him arms wide open and smiling. Willis lunged himself into the man’s arms weeping. "Who...who are you?" he asked after a few moments. He didn't answer; instead he wrapped his arms gently around Willis and hummed. Soon the wind picked up and Willis felt something soft brush against his tear stained cheek, it was a feather. Angel wings came out of the man’s back around wrapped around Willis's frozen body. "T-...Tamwyn Corsair?" he breathed.
